This repair is the same as Service Action SA-00-1080. Use this Quarantine Notice for vehicles that
are not registered and have not been given to a Customer.
Some vehicles in the affected VIN list for this Quarantine Notice may now be registered and given
to a Customer. Make sure that you do a check of the Online Dealer Warranty (ODW) database to
make sure that all necessary work is done to every vehicle.
Reason for this Quarantine Notice
Due to a parts supply issue some of the initial DB11 Volantes do not have the emergency roof tool. This is used to lock
and release the convertible roof in the event of a failure (refer to Figure 1).

This Service Action gives instructions to supply and fit the emergency roof tool to these vehicles.

Remove the head rest trim panel for the right side
rear seat area (A) (refer to Figure 2).
