Change to Engine Oil Pressure Switch
INTRODUCTION
This Service Information bulletin announces a design change to the oil pressure switch assembly.
Nickel plating has been applied to the internal switch contacts to enhance their durability and reduce
the possibility of poor contact which could affect operation or cause improper illumination of the oil
pressure warning lamp. A small pilot portion was added to the threaded area on p.n. 25240KA051 as
shown in the illustration below.

The new oil pressure switches were incorporated into production at the end of May, 2015 starting

SERVICE PROCEDURE / INFORMATION
Whenever replacement of the oil pressure switch is required, follow the procedure outlined in the
applicable Service Manual. After installation, always run the engine and recheck for leaks and proper
operation of the warning lamp before releasing the vehicle.
