Change to Driver Controlled Center Differential
(DCCD) Control Module

INTRODUCTION
This bulletin announces a change to the DCCD control module to prevent
unnecessary illumination of the DCCD warning light. The logic in the DCCD
module can detect differences in tire circumference due to tire size / wear
inconsistencies. On some 2015 MY vehicles, this logic was too sensitive and
could cause false illumination of the DCCD warning light.
PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION:

The new DCCD control modules were incorporated into production starting with VIN F*832766.
PART INFORMATION
The part number for the new DCCD control module is 32520AA331.
SERVICE PROCEDURE / INFORMATION
If a customer has a concern of the DCCD light coming on and the vehicle is before the production
change, verify the tires are of the same size and circumference (within ¼”) before ordering /
replacing the DCCD control module. Follow the procedure in the applicable Service Manual when
replacement is necessary. If any tires are found to have more than 1/4” difference in circumference,
tire replacement may be required. Continued used and operation of the vehicle with tires having
more than 1/4” difference in circumference may result in damage to the vehicle’s drivetrain and/or
clutch components. Failure to correct this concern may result in denial of warranty coverage for a
failure of the drivetrain or clutch components as a result of operation with mismatched tires.
