The A/C evaporator core on my 2021 Volvo XC60 suffered a premature structural failure, creating an immediate and severe safety hazard while driving. The component failed precisely five weeks after the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty wrapper expired. An authorized Volvo dealership service department formally inspected the vehicle and verified an active, heavy refrigerant leak utilizing UV filter video diagnostics. This component defect directly compromises vehicle safety in two distinct ways: Complete Loss of Windshield Defrost Capability: Due to the total failure of the climate control and dehumidification system, the vehicle completely loses its ability to clear the windshield during sudden weather shifts. During a period of heavy rain, the windshield instantly fogged over completely, severely restricting forward visibility and forcing me to immediately pull over on the shoulder to avoid a collision. Toxic Chemical Exposure: The cracked evaporator core continuously vents atomized chemical refrigerant vapor directly into the sealed passenger cabin through the HVAC ductwork. Even with the climate control system and fan completely powered off, a highly concentrated, sharp chemical odor filters into the cabin daily, exposing occupants to toxic chemical fumes while operating the vehicle. Volvo has documented this exact premature failure pattern across its SPA-platform vehicles under Technical Journal TJ 35912, explicitly acknowledging a systemic engineering defect where improper sensor calibration causes the core to freeze, warp, and crack. Despite knowing this part is prone to rapid premature failure, Volvo refuses to issue a safety recall, leaving drivers to operate unsafe vehicles or absorb an exorbitant $3,300+ out-of-pocket invoice to repair a known manufacturing flaw.

I have this car for more than 3 years now and ever since this sensor problem keeps bugging me out. The brake system hold error keeps on displaying specially on a rainy days, winter season and not only that, the car suddenly stopped in the middle of thw highway while displaying collision error message although there is no collision. This is very dangerous and knowing that it can happen anytime while your are driving on a highway. I am very frustrated and this type of cars is not cheap and they gave as a junk, not safe for driving cars. And jus today, my honda pilot is not starting at all. The engine keeps cranking while showing brake system hold error, collision error messages and a lot more. I was able to use it last night and suddenly for no reason it stops working because of some errors that I do not have any idea what's going on. Please, I need this to be fix by them (Honda). This is not a safe care at all.

Summary
My 2025 Nissan Frontier SV with 4,300 miles is experiencing an ongoing drivetrain issue related to the driveshaft and transfer case. There is a defect related to these parts that results in the drivetrain binding causing the vehicle to have rough shifting and at times, lunge forward when braking to a stop due to the drivetrain binding and then releasing. This makes me weary to drive the vehicle because it may lunge forward and cause a collision or affect my ability to stop in a emergency. There is also an audible metal clunk shearing noise that accompanies this issue when the binding finally releases. My vehicle has not been at the dealership twice and there only solution is to grease the splines between the driveshaft and transfer case. This fix has shown to be a short lived temporary fix that last approximately 2,000 miles. The dealership admitted this is a widespread issue and that many owners are experiencing this issue and that Nissan does not have a fix for it. This has been an issue for over a year and there is tons of posts in forums and social media pages related to these newer model Nissan Frontiers having this issue. It seems Nissan is trying to ignore and downplay the issue claiming the only problem is a "clunk" noise that can be fixed with some grease.

I purchased my CYBEX Callisto G 360 on April 26, 2025. The harness does not stay tight: after I pull the adjuster strap to tighten it and let go, I can pull on the shoulder straps and they loosen again without pressing the harness release button.
