Summary
Engine only stalls out when stopped on roadway while driving. Vehicle also does not start up after it has been driven and is parked. It takes 10 minutes or longer to get the vehicle to start again. Check engine light comes on every time when these two situations happen, which it happens periodically. Sometimes it's 2-3 times a day, sometimes, once every two days. Once it starts back up the engine light turns off. I've taken it to 2 reputable shops and neither of them found any issues as they could not replicate the issue, the engine light is not on, and there are no codes displayed. I now have a date for a inspection which includes a test drive with the dealership.

Summary
While driving in the dark, the car's headlamps extinguished multiple times for 1-2 seconds over the course of about 15 minutes. The headlamp switch was in the "Auto On-Off" position. I eventually turned the headlamp switch to the "On" position and the incident did not repeat for the next 45 minutes while driving home. The next day I examined the ambient light sensor located at the rearview mirror console behind the windshield. The glass was clean and without water or bug debris. I tested the "Auto On-Off" function by placing a towel over the ambient light sensor, and it correctly controlled the on-off function of the headlamps. Similar incidences are reported on a popular Alfa Romeo forum at [XXX]. However, I cannot find that any TSB or Recall has been issued. I have not had a dealer examine the vehicle. Summary
I noticed a loud rattle when starting my 2018 Ford Expedition, at first occasionally and then on every cold start. The Ford Dealer's service department diagnosed a cam phaser issue. There were no warning lights or messages available to me, but the service department's diagnosis showed several timing faults. I was told the cam phaser repair is $4000 - $5000 and continued use puts the engine and transmission at risk. I contacted Ford customer service and was told that my vehicle was not eligible for assistance with these repairs and that my level of loyalty also did not make me eligible for assistance. I have maintained this vehicle with oil changes, fluid changes, tire and brake maintenance for the life of the vehicle. I would like the NHTSA to investigate Ford for a recall of the cam phasers and effected parts since this is a known and prominent issue that also impacts road safey.

A crack was found in the frame above the left rear suspension spring hanger for the rear (2nd) axle on my 2024 Grand Design Influence 3803GK 5th wheel RV. This is an ongoing issue with Grand Design and other towable RV Manufacturers, investigation number PE24029. The crack was found and inspected at a manufacturers rally by Service Representatives from Grand Design and Lippert in March of 2026. Lippert sent a mobile technician to our home to perform repairs on 5/26/26. The repair was to grind out the crack and weld, then weld a piece of 1" x 2" steel tubing over the crack vertically between the top and bottom webs. They also welded 1" x 2" tubing for cross braces between the spring hangers (side-to-side) at all three spring hanger locations.

The infotainment screen that includes the rear backup camera stopped working intermittently and then completely. The dealer's service department identified that the APIM, a module involved in operating the screen had failed. The backup camera is a significant and necessary safety feature for such a large vehicle. The dealer ordered the new part and replaced it at significant expense. There was no warning of this issue, and the only symptom was the intermittent delay of the infotainment system turning on upon startup of the vehicle.

Summary
I'm curious how many other Mazda owners are dealing with the same battery drain issue. I'm now on my third battery since 2024: Factory battery replaced under warranty in 2025. Second replacement purchased in March 2026. Within a month, the "Battery Low - Drive Vehicle to Recharge" warning was back. The dealer kept my vehicle for four days to monitor it, but they couldn't find anything abnormal. This started long before I had a dashcam professionally installed, so that's not the cause. I've read numerous posts on Facebook from other owners mentioning: A door module that can get wet after heavy rain and cause a parasitic battery drain. The key fob constantly communicating with the vehicle when it's within about 20 feet, potentially contributing to battery drain. I mentioned the door module issue to my dealer, but they said they had never heard of it. At this point, it's becoming incredibly frustrating. A modern vehicle shouldn't be going through batteries like this, especially when the dealer can't identify the root cause. I started to document the times that my dashboard warning pops up that the battery is low.
