Additional Comments for Complaint #11750912:I am uploading photographic evidence of severe material delamination on my vehicle's front radar emblem shield (Part #71125-TG7-A51) [71125-TG7-A51].This manufacturing defect caused a critical safety failure: my vehicle recently executed a sudden, violent phantom braking event on the highway with absolutely no prior warning lights or error codes on the dashboard. The peeling layers and air bubbles on the emblem physically refracted the radar signals, creating a false target that locked the brakes and nearly caused a severe rear-end collision.While I was driving alone during this specific incident, this car is my primary family vehicle used daily to transport my wife and my three young children. I am now genuinely terrified to drive my family in this vehicle and must manually turn off the CMBS system every time I start the car to protect them. American Honda Corporate (Case #16495852) has formally refused to address this active braking hazard, deflecting the issue by focusing only on unrelated radio glitches.I request a federal safety investigation into Honda’s radar emblem material degradation, as it directly compromises collision-mitigation systems without triggering automated dashboard fault alerts, putting families and young children at immediate risk.

At about 15000 mile (under warranty) I had to take it to the dealer for hard shifting. At around 58000 mile and still under warranty I started to have intermittent hard shifting and searching for gears. At 63000 (out of warranty) I had complete transmission failure with gear lockouts occuring on 2nd and 7th gear and hard shifting. Applied for to FORD for after warranty assistance and was told to keep driving the truck while they worked it out with Customer Service Assistance. AI is reflecting to STOP driving the vehicle immediately as it is a known safety issue from FORD. WTH!

Summary
Engine start/stop function fails to restart after automatically shutting off at a light or in traffic. It falters and fails to start, then the dashboard lights up with errors, and I have to put it into park before restarting. Sometimes it takes a few tries before restarting. I own a 2020 Ford Edge ST with approximately 62,460 miles. My vehicle has developed a loud noise coming from the rear differential, particularly when turning at low speeds. On July 6, 2026, I had the vehicle inspected by my independent mechanic, Kenny's Quick Service. Ford Motor Company has not inspected my vehicle. My mechanic documented the following: "Customer has a noise in the rear of vehicle. Checked vehicle and found noise in rear differential, when turning at low speeds. Checked fluid and fluid is not at proper level, differential could possibly come apart. Differential needs to be replaced." Based on this inspection, my mechanic advised me not to continue driving the vehicle because of the condition of the rear differential. I was advised that if the differential completely fails, the vehicle could stop moving and potentially create a dangerous situation, including the possibility of an accident. The vehicle is currently not being driven because of this safety concern. This issue concerns me because Ford previously issued Safety Recall 21S02 involving certain 2020-2021 Ford Edge vehicles and a low-fluid condition in the rear drive unit. According to the recall information, inadequate lubrication could cause the rear drive unit to seize, resulting in loss of drive and/or loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash. My vehicle is a 2020 Ford Edge ST, but my VIN is not included in the 21S02 recall. Despite not being included in the recall, my independent mechanic has now diagnosed a rear differential problem involving an improper fluid level and a condition requiring replacement of the differential. The similarity between the recalled condition and the condition diagnosed in my vehicle concerns me greatly. The estimated cost to replace the rear differential has been verbally stated to be approximately $3,000 to $5,000. I have not yet received a formal written repair estimate. Intermittent warning of front camera collision / braking malfunction. Usualy less then 10 seconds but on one occassion persisted for about 10 minutes. Has been to dealership for investigation without resolution. Happened last on 7/16/2026. Arrived at dealership withing 20 minutes, they were able to call up the alert on there service advisors computer but could not do further investigation at the time. Vehicle is again scheduled to go to dealership on 3 August 26. Prolonged alert was 6/2/26, immeadiatly went to dealer (within 3 miles) vehicle into dealer fror a week on 7/6/26 without resolution

Please contact Carvana and make them take that vehicle off the market. I purchased it and by chance found out that bottom parts like subframe and exhaust pipe were inadequately installed . The mechanic said eventually I was going to flip over myself on the highway in that car. He also stated that this repair cost would be around $8000 - more than half of this used car was offered for on Carvana. I returned the car. Half a month later is back on Carvana website for the same price. Please help! I have no alt motive but try and save someone’s life.
