Vehicle brought to Ocean Honda, Weymouth MA with complaint that HVAC system underperforming. Customer asked to replace condensor under warrany but Honda required full diagnostic ($135). Honda disclosed that 2/3 HVAC system had leaks, and known issues. Honda has a known issue with faulty and leaking AC condensers, heat exchange pipes, and evaporators. They reported this vehicle had leaking condensor and heat exchange pipe. Honda stated they can replace the the condenser under warranty, but not the heat exchange pipe or evaporators - even though they admit both are faulty and often require repair, replacement, and costly AC system recharge. The costly repairs (upwards of $1,800-$2,000+) are passed onto the customer. These failures are confirmed by dealer (Ocean Honda - Weymouth) and considered hazardous, but refusal to fix unless cost is absorbed by customer.

Took a hard Impact to the rear driver side tire and rear driver door corner small dent(near rear tire), and was spun 180° causing being propelled into a light pole on the passenger front and side. No airbags deployed in the entire vehicle. Multiple people in the vehicle in the vehicle sustained concussions, one also hit their head off the side window which resulted in a large bump forming, and also sustained a fractured rib. No warning lights were on and vehicle had recently been inspected. Currently there is a case opened with JEEP regarding the lack of deployment of the airbag system related to this accident.

I am reporting a serious safety defect and unreasonable delay in addressing it under safety recall N252494000 (L87 Engine – Loss of Propulsion). My GMC Yukon has an illuminated check engine light and is now also overheating. According to GM’s own customer service r, this can lead to knocking, unusual engine noises, hesitation, high RPMs, abnormal shifting, reduced propulsion, and sudden loss of propulsion while driving, increasing the risk of a crash. I have contacted multiple dealerships for urgent repair: Cappllino GMC Keller Chevrolet Joe Basil All three have advised me that they do not have enough technicians to get my vehicle in for repair. Each has urged me to continue driving the vehicle despite the active check engine light and recall, and all have refused to provide a loaner vehicle. I have also contacted GMC Corporate directly for intervention. Instead of providing a loaner or expediting repairs, they have only offered post-repair rental reimbursement (up to $44/day after a repair order is opened). This leaves me with no safe transportation option. I have been told I can “drop off” the vehicle, but I have no alternative way to get home or to work. GMC and its dealerships are putting my safety (and the safety of other road users) at serious risk by directing me to continue operating a recalled, overheating vehicle with an active check engine light while refusing to provide any loaner or timely repair. My vehicle has 34,700 miles and is nearing the end of its warranty coverage, which raises additional concerns about potential delay tactics. Please review: The L87 engine defect and related check engine/overheating issues in GMC Yukons. GMC’s handling of this recall, including widespread failure to provide loaners and instructions to customers to keep driving defective vehicles. While operating my 2019 Honda Pilot, the vehicle experienced a sudden mechanical failure of the factory moonroof assembly. While driving, the moonroof became permanently stuck open / began violently grinding and refused to close.This mechanical failure presents an immediate safety and security hazard. Because the glass cannot be closed, it exposes the interior cabin and driver to distracting external wind turbulence, weather, and road debris while traveling at highway speeds. Furthermore, the inability to secure the vehicle leaves it vulnerable to theft and environmental damage. The vehicle currently has 88000 miles.Inspection reveals that the failure stems from fragile internal components within the track assembly and drive motor. This structural failure requires a costly, full replacement of the track frame mechanism. I request that the NHTSA track these mechanical track failures to determine if a formal safety investigation or recall is warranted for the 2019 Pilot's moonroof assembly.
