I have not been involved in an accident yet. You can’t drive the truck because the warning goes every 2 minutes. The brake hydraulic control unit has failed and they will not fix the truck. I can’t pull my camper. I have at least 6 hours on the phone with Ram and they say there is nothing they can do. The dealer ship says they have the part that is on the truck now, but Ram will not allow them to install it. It’s not the new part. Mean while my truck is useless until they fix it. Summary
The contact owned a 2023 Kia Sportage. The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH, the vehicle hydroplaned all 3 lanes on the highway. The vehicle hit a retaining wall, the vehicle bounced back, spun around and faced oncoming traffic head on. An oversized trailer crashed into the contact's vehicle head on and pushed the vehicle into the middle lane where it came to a stop. The driver’s and passenger’s side air bags did not deploy. Unknown if any warning lights were illuminated. However, the vehicle's system contacted 911. A police report was filed. The contact was taken to the hospital via ambulance due to sustaining severe injuries to the left shoulder, collapsed lung, chest abrasions, nerve damage to the abdominal area, nerve damage to the lower back and a brain injury. The contact recently had surgery on her left shoulder. The vehicle was towed to a local towing yard. The insurance company was contacted and deemed the vehicle a total loss. The contact hired an attorney who hired an engineer to check the black box inside the vehicle and found that nothing was recorded. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.?

Summary
Hi, my name is [XXX] and I leased a 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy last summer. I have been having issues with my car skidding on rough or uneven pavement and I brought the car in for service to check the issue. I was told by the dealership that my issue is "normal" and it's how the ABS system works. This is obviously ridiculous because no car is supposed to skid on regular roads with no snow or ice. The car skids and the wheel shakes and my brakes do not work for a few seconds. I have to basically slam on the brakes and pray the car stops. I told the dealership it is definitely not normal. They said they would check the car and call me. I got a call a couple hours later telling me the ABS system is working fine. When I googled the issue, I saw many, many complaints about this issue and a class action lawsuit that has been filed. I picked up my car and asked the representative to speak to a manager. He said they all leave at 4:00. It was 4:30. I asked him how Hyundai is ok with sending people like me back out on the road knowing the ABS system is faulty and causes loss of brakes? He replied "Until Hyundai issues a recall, there is nothing we can do." I have owned Hyundai cars in the past and have always admired them as a company. They offer great safety and great warranties. But now I ask why they are ignoring this obvious safety issue? What will happen when a person driving a Palisade loses brakes and God forbid hits a car or a person? Please make this right and fix these cars so that we can feel safe on the road. My children drive my car, though I won't be allowing that anymore.Please advise on next steps. ** From Dealer - diagnosis says - Primary Line B: D1 C/S Multiple warning lights came on in dash (like a X-mas tree) and vehicle will not want to drive after that. C/S has to turn off and turn back on to get to move. C/A TIPM – Total integrated power module – verified customer concern found vehicle with loss of comm dts with tipm no vin mis match dtc present and more than one module aginst tipm recommend replacement of tipm and retesting at this time. The TIPM module controls most if not all of the body functions of the car or truck. Everything from wipers and headlights, starting system and so on. It accepts signals from many diff switches and modules in the car and translates them to the connected systems. $2128.00 is total cost of repair at Dodge Lithia – this should be a recall. There are only about 63,000 miles on her vehicle. ** Safety of driver (my mother in law who is [XXX] or niece) put at risk because car just slows down and stops WHILE driving. She pulls over, stops car, then when she starts car again it's okay for a while until it does this again. ** Safety of those on the road, if her car dies while she's driving it and she has to pull off, if car won't drive, she is stopped on the road or highway with other cars behind hopefully stopping to let her pull off the road. ** Yes it was inspected and reproduced by dealer. Dealer (Dodge Lithia in Kennewick, WA) gave us this information above primary line B, etc lights all come on dash looking like a Christmas tree.... ** No warning lights for this specific issues, only that ALL dash lights come on like a Christmas tree, we paid $300 for one mechanic who couldn't diagnose. Now Dodge has said it's a $2000+ fix - and hopefully this will fix the issue??? ** The only symptom is dashboard lights up, car slows down (de-celerates) and then won't go. My 25 Pallisade front end/front wheels shake violently when braking and hitting a bump at the same time. It shakes so hard my steering wheel shakes also.
