Front Compartment Plate update
This instruction refers to other documents that are necessary to do the procedure.
If TSB-26112 is to be done to the vehicle, do that instruction first and then this instruction.

Situation
Storing the roof in the front compartment may cause damage and make it harder to close properly.

Action
Install the new luggage plate with an improved design for better fitment.
WARNING/
Always use the necessary PPE when drilling and cutting parts made out of
carbon fiber. Carbon fiber dust can cause injury to persons.

Prepare
1. Open the front hood with the key fob or from the center console.
2. Disconnect the 12 V system, refer to WOM-00082.
3. Remove the old luggage plate, refer to WOM-00091.
4. Protect necessary parts of the vehicle with thick and soft mats or similar.

Modify the Fresh Air Duct
CAUTION
Make sure that the fresh air duct flap is in the open position. If it is not in the
open position, you can cause damage to the vehicle when cutting.

1. Make sure that the fresh air duct flap is open:
º In SmartCenter, press the climate icon to show the climate screen and set the air
recirculation
to OFF.
2. Put on the personal protective equipment.

3. Cut off the lower flap
of the bottom fresh air duct-insulation

4. Put the roof clearance template

in position on the fresh air duct where you cut off the

5. Use a white marker to mark the rectangular shape
6. Remove the roof clearance template

7. Carefully cut or drill a small hole in the marked shape, to make sure that the fresh air duct
flap is open.
Tool: Dremel or equivalent
º If the fresh air duct flap is open continue to cut out the marked shape.
º If the fresh air duct is not open, try to open it, refer to step 1.
º If the fresh air duct flap does notopen, submit a KATS ticket to contact Koenigsegg.
8. Use sandpaper to remove sharp edges.
Consumable: sandpaper, 80 grit
9. Put the roof clearance part
in position in the fresh air duct cutout to make sure that it fits.
Part: 1090905

º If it does not fit, remove more material from the cutout until it fits.
º If it fits, continue to the next step.
10. Use sandpaper around the fresh air duct cutout to make the surface to bond rough.
Consumable: Sandpaper, 80 grit

11. Remove unwanted material from the vehicle and clean the area to bond with isopropanol.

12. Use sandpaper on the roof clearance part
Consumable: Sandpaper, 80 grit

to make the surface to bond rough.

13. Apply glue on surface to bond on the roof clearance part

Consumable: 130-114-1011
14. Glue the roof clearance part
to the fresh air duct cutout. Make sure that you turn it in
the correct direction.

15. Put tape over the roof clearance part

to keep it in position on the fresh air duct.

16. Let the glue cure for 24 hours at a room temperature of at least 15°C/59°F.

Install the Rear Luggage Plate Supports
1. Put the RH luggage plate support
wall.

3. Use a white marker to mark the contours

of the RH luggage plate support

4. Remove the RH luggage plate support

5. Cut the bulkhead insulation with a 5 mm distance
to the white marked contour.
6. Remove the insulation foam cutout.
7. Remove 2× T25 screws
together with the washers from the bulkhead.

8. Discard the 2× T25 screws
but keep the washers.
9. Temporarily install the RH luggage plate support with the new longer T25 screws together
with the washers that you removed in step 7.

10. On the bulkhead, mark the area where the glue holes are on the luggage plate support.

11. Use sandpaper on the marked area on the bulkhead until the contact surface is rough.
Consumable: Sandpaper, 80 grit
12. Clean the contact surface with isopropanol.
13. Use sandpaper on the luggage plate support until the contact surface is rough.
Consumable: Sandpaper, 80 grit
14. Clean the contact surface with isopropanol.
15. Apply glue to the contact surface on the luggage plate support.
Consumable: 130-114-1011
16. Install the luggage plate support to the bulkhead with the screws and washers that you
used in step 9.
17. Do this section for the LH luggage plate support.

Replace the Luggage Plate Front-Support-Bracket
1. Remove the old luggage plate front-support-bracket

:

1.1 Use a heat gun on the two parts that is glued
to loosen the front-supportbracket.
1.2 Remove the front-support-bracket from the subframe.
2. Put masking tape around the old contact surfaces to protect them.
3. Use sandpaper on the old contact surfaces on the subframe to remove unwanted glue.
Consumable: Sandpaper, 80 grit

4. Clean the grinded surfaces with isopropanol.
5. Install the new luggage support brackets on the subframe:

5.1 Put the new LH support-bracket

5.2 Put the new RH support-bracket

Make sure that you turn the two brackets as shown in the above illustration.
5.3 Measure 82.5 mm
from the center hole
to the LH support bracket
and the
RH support bracket

5.4 Use a white marker to mark the position of the contact surfaces of the two brackets.

5.5 Use sandpaper on the marked contact surfaces on the subframe until the paint is
removed.
Consumable: Sandpaper, 80 grit
5.6 Clean the contact surfaces on the subframe with isopropanol.
