TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN
AFFECTED MODELS
2026 :: Supreme Aire, Summit Aire
DESCRIPTION
The tank heat button will not activate tank heat on the TMSC-100 in 2026 Supreme Aire and
Summit Aire coaches.
ISSUE
If the coach is parked in freezing temperatures and the tank heat is not turned on when activated,
it may cause tank or gate valve damage due to the contents freezing.
UNITS AFFECTED
Please refer to the attached population list for affected units and VINs.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Keep the tanks empty during freezing conditions until the update can be performed by an
authorized service facility using the attached work instructions. This update should be performed
at your earliest convenience.

The Authorized Service facility will be charged for the programmer when ordered and credited
for the programmer when returned. Do not include the price of the programmer in the claim.
Return the programmer to Newmar for full credit.
If a Dealer has more than one unit on the lot; they would use the same re-programmer to
complete programming on all affected units prior to returning the programmer and claim(s). This
will keep the cost of shipping down. Include UPS ground shipping for return of the programmer
from (USA $12.50) from (Canada $28.00) on one claim if more than one unit at dealership.

V-BUS Re-Programming Terms
TMSC-100-TANK-HEAT-HL
Purpose:
Step-by-step instructions for re-programing V-BUS-TMSC-100-TANK-HEAT-HL
Issue being addressed:
- This update will require an individual tank to have 5% liquid in the tank before the tank heat relay
will turn ON. Note, tank heat relays are DISABLED by default when the battery disconnect is turned
ON and are only ENABLED when a user enables from a LCD.

Unplug the RV from shore power
Locate the TMSC-100
Look in passenger side compartment in front of the rear wheels

12VDC battery disconnect needs turned “ON” before proceeding
Wait 60 Seconds!!
Plug in the updater to the 5-POS connector

This step should take around 1-2 minutes
Press the “START SWITCH”
Programming LED will flash RED while programming
V-Bus Activity LED will flicker GREEN during this time
Programming LED will light solid GREEN when finished
