Following this procedure on a device under warranty will void the factory warranty.
Information:
The VAS5581A has an internal battery that must stay charged. Keep the provided charger always plugged into the
VAS5581A and wall outlet; and the red stop button lifted while in storage.

Replacement:
VAS 5581A is not powering on and/or charging
If the VAS5581A is no longer under warranty, the 6 internal batteries can be replaced with
Samsung 25R 3.7V Rechargeable 18650 Battery 25R Flat Top, Real 2500mAh.
Do not use metal tools in this procedure. Do not pry on the printed circuit board to remove the batteries.
If required, remove adhesive securing the batteries. Reinstall new adhesive (RTV) as needed.
Remove the 6 torques that are securing the back casing of the tool to get access to the batteries.
Please note +/- orientation, prior to removing the batteries.
After installing the new batteries and securing the rear casing, make sure to lift the red stop button
on the front. It may have been pressed while the tool was turned over during maintenance.
