Concerns:
Front high-voltage pulse inverter (JX4)
Rear high-voltage pulse inverter (JX1)
Cause:
The customer complains about a red warning message at start-up "HV vehicle electrical system:
Malfunction! Stop vehicle safely" in the instrument cluster.
Even after an ignition change (ending driving readiness and starting again), the vehicle is still not ready to
drive and displays the same warning message. If a bus rest of approx. 8 minutes is produced, the warning
message disappears when the vehicle is started and the vehicle is ready to drive again.
All of the following fault memory entries are stored in the fault memory of the front high-voltage pulse
inverter control unit (JX4) or the rear pulse inverter control unit (JX1) and these were entered simultaneously
(time stamp identical).

Action:

⇒ If Workshop Campaign WSJ0 has already been carried out in the past or the vehicle is not affected by
Workshop Campaign WSJ0.
Always perform a software integration test to ensure that all control units have the latest software release.
Create vehicle analysis log (VAL) and check the fault memory entries in the high-voltage rear pulse inverter
control unit and/or high-voltage front pulse inverter control unit.
If the described fault memories are entered more than once (fault frequency counter >1), the affected pulse
inverter must be replaced.
If the fault memories are entered only once, no action is required if the bus idle of approx. 8 minutes has
caused the fault pattern to heal.
The vehicle can continue to be used without further restrictions.
