Information:

The customer complains that the yellow warning message "Battery low" lights up in the instrument cluster;
on continuing driving (> 7 km/h (4.35 mph)), this leads to the red warning message "Vehicle electrical
system faulty". If thereafter bus idle is restored, the warning message is no longer available.
The following fault memory entry is stored in the fault memory of the Gateway control unit:

In the event of a customer complaint, re-program the high-voltage battery control unit (BECM) using the
Porsche Tester.
Information
The minimum programming requirement is the Porsche Tester software release: 43.800.010 (or higher).

Specific information on control unit programming in the context of this Technical Information:
Required Porsche Tester software release:

function in the additional menu on the Porsche
Tester by entering a programming code.

Read and follow the Porsche Tester information
and instructions during the guided programming
sequence.
During the programming sequence, the control
unit is re-programmed and then re-codedautomatically.
Do not interrupt the programming and coding
process.
A backup documentation process for the
re-programmed software releases starts once
programming and coding is complete.
