Technical Background

Pixel error in the virtual cockpit.

Production Solution

Optimized hardware in Audi virtual cockpit implemented on 10/01/2024 (production date of instrument cluster).

Service
1. In your warranty claim notes document the production date of the instrument cluster. To do so:
- Using Self Diagnosis: Select diagnostic address 17.
— Use the control module OBD drop down and select Identification.

- Click “show expanded identification”.

-— Expand the “Fazit identification” and document “Day of manufacture”.

2. If the date of manufacture is BEFORE 10/01/2024 this TSB applies and the Audi Virtual Cockpit -J285- must

be replaced.

3. Attach a photo which clearly shows the complaint to DOC-IT. To ensure a reference to the vehicle, the

image/video must:.

— Include the VIN and date.

— Must not be edited.

- Should be in focus and taken with sufficient light. A high resolution is not necessary.

If appropriate, please mark the location of the problem so that parts analysis has a clear reference to the

complaint. Please ensure that the photo documentation does not show any people and/or face, license plates,

or customer data.
