Important: This technical service bulletin (TSB) can only be completed by BrightDrop dealers or BrightDrop certified

repair facilities who have met all BrightDrop specific training, tool, and equipment requirements. Repairs must be

performed by a technician who has successfully completed the required training.

Installation Procedure

Note: This installation procedure should only be completed when the front license plate is ready to be installed.

1. Locate the dimples on the front fascia surface where the license plate will be installed. The front fascia has

bosses that are molded into the front fascia behind these dimples, to provide support for the license plate.

2. Line up the license plate with the dimples. The dimensions for the top left dimple (1) 35 mm (1.38 in) and (2) 45

mm (1.78 in) are shown in the graphic above and can also be used as a guide for locating the remaining

dimples.

3. Drive the provided self-tapping screws through the license plate and into the front fascia until the plate is

secured to the front fascia. Do not over torque the screws.

The labor time for installing the front license plate is included in the PDI time.
