Water drain hose

Cause:

A drain hose not manufactured according to specifications may have been installed on the heater/fresh-air
unit on affected vehicles.
As a result, it cannot be ruled out that moisture enters the passenger compartment due to leaking
condensate over the service life of the vehicle.

Action:

Rework drain hose on heating/fresh-air unit.

14 Connect the P90999 - PIWIS Tester 4, switch on ignition and start the diagnostic application.
15 Read out and delete all control unit fault memories.
16 Exit the diagnostic application. Switch off ignition. Disconnect P90999 - PIWIS Tester 4 from the
vehicle.
17 Switch off and disconnect the battery charger.

18 Enter the campaign in the Warranty and Maintenance logbook.
