*SW Release 1.3.17:
- Abbey Road sound mode is introduced as a new sound mode (Only available for Bowers & Wilkins
Sound level)
- HD Radio is introduced
- Bug fix solves the issue where the connection of key tags and Digital Keys to profiles could
disappear after the car was parked for a while. All keys connected to profiles shall now be kept until
they are manually removed
- New functionality, Curve Speed Assist, CSA, to be introduced. Curve Speed Assist adapts the
vehicle speed to curves, roundabouts and junctions/ramps. It is an extension of Adaptive Cruise
Control. (All markets except China and Korea)
- Pre-conditioning timer settings will no longer reset overnight
- Welcome and farewell light improvements. Rear light animations are now activated in more
approach scenarios
- Adaptive high beam control is turning on High Beam with quicker response time after a meeting
scenario
- Fixed the issue related to Fahrenheit temperature that was always bumping back to 62.
- Smart charging is enabled, a convenient way to schedule charging based on chosen departure time
- Improvement for Unlock at approach functionality when opening in wet weather conditions

- Improvements for NFC reader in the door handle. When you place your fingers under the door
handle you will trigger a reset that will re-enable the NFC-reader (in the handle)
- Further stability improvements for AC charging.
- Infotainment system improved with rear camera split view update
- QR code added in Center display for user to connect the Mobile App to the car, still supporting
Volvo ID and password as backup
- ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) information is added in DIM when Navi route is set and map view
is active in DIM
- Bug fixes to enable possibility to change charging settings for a location via the mobile App
- Improved sound when phone is connected via blue tooth
- Improvements for better stability on Connectivity connection
- Additional info added in HUD (Head-Up Display): ACC/Pilot Assist status + set speed
*Improvements/fixes/intro for next SW release planned to 2025 Q3:
- Digital key system improvements
- Improvement in occupant presence reminders when leaving the car
Following features are currently not available for EX90:
- Light in steering wheel buttons
- Folding outer mirrors when locking the car
