Summary
SERVICE BULLETIN M1685: CUSTOM RIDE MODE SETTINGS NOT SAVING ON SKYLINE OS. PURPOSE: Initial Release. This bulletin informs dealers that when the Infotainment Control Unit (IFCU) is set to certain languages, any changes made to a custom ride mode will not save. This concern is found in 6 of the languages offered on the IFCU: Danish, Dutch, French (France), German, Japanese, Russian. Using any of the other 27 languages offered will allow changes to custom ride modes to be saved.

Purpose for Service Bulletin
This bulletin informs dealers that when the Infotainment Control
Unit (IFCU) is set to certain languages, any changes made to
a custom ride mode will not save.

Change the Language in the IFCU to any other language
except:
• Danish

Cycle vehicle OFF.

Using any of the other 27 languages offered will allow changes
to custom ride modes to be saved.

Place vehicle in: ACC or IGN ON

See Figure 2. Make the desired changes to Custom Ride

See Figure 1. On the IFCU go to the Language menu:
SETTINGS > SYSTEM > LANGUAGE.

Return to Language menu in IFCU and set back to original
language.
