This TJ supercedes TJ 36752.
If vibrations occur in the steering wheel, mostly noticeable at speeds between 60-80 mph
(100-130 kph), please follow advice under “Service”.

SERVICE:
Please start by following TJ 36580 to exclude that the vibrations emanate from the wheels or tires.
•
Retain documentation from those procedures for future reference.
If the issue still occurs after the above has been ruled out, replace the driver’s airbag module
according to VIDA instructions.
•
Replacement airbags contain an oscillation damper that will lessen the vibration.
•
The production date of replacement airbag module should be after year 2025 day 020. Please
see attachment TJ_36424_1.jpg for location of the production date of airbag.
When above solutions have been implemented, the vehicle should meet the expected attribute
levels with regards of steering wheel vibrations.

To get a warranty claim accepted for a job described in this TJ, use the corresponding VST OP
number stated in this TJ.
Note that the TJ number must be stated in the repair order text.
Note that no warranty claim is accepted related to drive shaft replacements.
