Description:
SR-3 Multi-Temperature Base Controller Software Revision F047 was released in
the 1st Quarter of 2024. This software is available from Thermo King
® e-Tech
Library and includes the features listed below.
Note:
New Multi-Temperature Base Controllers are labeled D0A3. Multi-Temperature
software is then loaded onto them.
Summary:
New SR-3 Base Controllers loaded with D0A3 cannot be loaded with older
software. If older software is loaded onto F047 Base Controllers, Alarm Code 68
(Internal Controller Fault) may be present as well as invalid sensor readings
showing dashes, possibly without alarm codes.
F047 is backwards compatible with Base Controllers not loaded with D0A3. Refer
to image of identification label below.
F047 is available for new SR- Base Controllers only. Aftermarket SR-3 Base
Controllers come with D0A3 and must be flashloaded to F047. Refer to image of
identification label below.
Features:

F047 has been released to address erroneous alarm codes such as 45, 67, 110, 112, and
144.

These alarms can be set when using the new expansion module PN 452975 and software
F046.
•
If new expansion module is installed, load new software F047.
IMPORTANT: SR-3 Base Controller software F047 and HMI Control Panel software 75C4 or
above are both required for full feature availability.
IMPORTANT: Unless otherwise noted, software upgrades made to units with previous
software revisions are not covered by a warranty labor allowance. This upgrade is made at
the discretion of dealers and with the agreement of the unit owner or operator.
NOTE: If an SR-3 Controller with F047 is replacing an SR-2 Controller, the SR-2 HMI (4 MB)
must be flashloaded with HMI software 68C4 to be compatible with F047.
WinTrac® and OptiSet® Plus Software Requirements:
SR-3 truck applications with F047 require WinTrac 6.10 or later.
Availability:
Base Controller software and HMI Control Panel software are both available from Thermo King®
e-Tech Library.

SR-3 Base Controller F047 Software - The file name for the *.ZIP file containing both the
traditional mXX and cXX files and the *.FLA file is Micro Code Update F047 for the SR-3
Single Temp Base Controller.zip. Click this file to download the software.

HMI Control Panel 75C4 Software - The file name for the *.ZIP file containing both the
traditional mXX and cXX files and the *.FLA file is Micro Code 75C4 Update for the SR-3
HMI Control Panel.zip. Click this file to download the software.
When Base Controller and/or HMI Control Panel flashload files are downloaded from Thermo King
e-Tech Library, they are downloaded as a *.ZIP file. When flashload files for these SR-3
applications are unzipped, there will be three files.
•
The traditional *.mXX and *.cXX files will be unzipped. These two files are for use when
flashloading the SR-3 unit in the traditional manner by using a data cable to connect the SR3 unit to a computer equipped with WinTrac.
NOTE: Both the *.mXX and *.cXX files must be present in order to perform a flashload using
a data cable, even though only one of them is shown by WinTrac.

A *.FLA file will also be unzipped. This file is for use when flashloading a unit using a
WinTrac configured USB Flash Drive. Refer to TT611 - FLA Files for SR-3 Single
Temperature Units for more information about using FLA files.
NOTE: If the USB Flash Drive is used, the appropriate *.fla file must be placed on a WinTrac
configured Flash Drive. The *.fla files must be placed in the appropriate folders on the Flash
Drive.

For additional information on flashloading software using a computer, WinTrac, and a data cable,
refer to Section 6 of the SR-3 Truck Single Temp Diagnostic Manual (TK 55208).

NOTE: T-90 units do not have a 4 pin to 5 pin Deutsch connector included. To connect to the
Base Controller, use a 4 pin to 5 pin Deutsch cable such as aftermarket PN 415484.
