IMPORTANT
When receiving a vehicle for service:
• Always lookup the vehicle identification number (VIN) on the Knowledge Center to ensure all required recalls are performed.
• Always connect the vehicle to the BRP diagnostic software (BUDS) to ensure all required updates are performed.
PROBLEM
The current softwares do not not allow the following features:
• Vehicle information to be displayed in the BRP GO! app.
• Heated grips activation.
The software updates will also implement various improvements for the EV modules.
SOLUTION
Perform the following software updates using BUDS3:
• VCU
• BMS
• Cluster (Multifunction Gauge)
• OBC (Only early production vehicles are affected. If this update is not listed, it means the correct software was installed at the
factory).
• INVT (Inverter)

CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Always make sure to have at least the BUDS3 version 1.02.012 installed.
2. Using the Multifunction Gauge Update Cable, the BUDS3 Hardware V800 VCI and the BUDS3 V800 VCI, connect the vehicle to
BUDS3.

4. Ensure the operation is successful for all the modules.
5. After closing the page, an automatic scan will be performed and the updated modules will be removed from the list.
NOTE
The multifunction gauge update is different from the other modules. It is performed with the blue USB cable. When the
update is launched, your web browser will automatically open and request to download a file which will be installed by
BUDS3. Ensure the download window is open to monitor the progression.
