A new software platform has been released to update McLaren Artura to versions 4.11 for
MY 23, 5.3 for MY 24, 6.4 for MY 25 Coupe and 4.4 for MY 25 Spider.

1. Overview
McLaren Automotive has released new software platforms to update the McLaren Artura to version 4.11 for MY23,
5.3 for MY24, 6.4 for MY25 and 4.4 for MY 25 Spider to the latest Software Platform.
2. Procedure
To carry out the Service Campaign for the Software Platforms 4.11, 5.3, 6.4 and 4.4 update, software updates in
multiple control units are required using McLaren Diagnostic System (MDS) 2.
Please refer to the next section which contains the relevant work instructions and care points.
3. Re-Programming Procedure
Care Point: Only technicians who have completed the McLaren Artura Training are allowed to work on the
vehicle.

For McLaren Artura MY24, please follow the instructions and care points within the document ‘Installation

Care Point: Specific flashing order is required for successfully updating the vehicle software platform to 4.11, 5.3,
6.4 and 4.4. Always follow the correct control unit flashing order and instructions as specified in the installation
instruction document and care points within.
