Some customers may comment that the rear seat back leather covers are wavy or wrinkled and appear to be a loose fit.
Cause

The rear seat covers may not have been properly stretched out either from poor installation at the factory or from a prior service repair.

Correction

Please follow the Service procedure below to tighten the cover around the base of the
seat and eliminate the wavy/wrinkled appearance.
Note: This procedure can be followed assuming no damage to the cover has been found.

Service Procedure
The following tools are recommended for this procedure:
• Gloves
• Fiber Stick
• Steamer (if accessible) to help generate heat and relax the leather. Not required.

Note: (A) — Clip location is directly aligned to this center stitching area.
1. Locate the clip (bracket/latch). This can be found in the center of the RSB on the top.

Note: Apply downward and inward force to get the brackets to release.
2. Using a fiber stick, un-latch the clip/bracket from the body of the vehicle.

3. Pull the RSB in towards yourself/down towards the RSC.

4. Finesse the RSB trim starting from the bottom working your way up and out to the sides and top. Once at the
top, finesse over the back and down. (Apply steam if you need assistance/heat to help assist while finessing the
leather/vinyl. Not required)

Note: (A) — Finesse the trim on the side in a downward motion.
Note: (B) — Massage from the front and roll the trim to the back and then in a downward motion.
Note: (C) — Continue from the top, working over the back and down.

5. When completed, firmly press the seat back until you hear an audible click. This lets you know that the RSB is
properly seated, and the clips are locked/engaged.
