CUSTOMER
SYMPTOM:

Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must
exhibit/set the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC):
● P0128-00 - Termostato Elétrico - Racionalidade.
Customers may also comment on one or more of the following:
● The vehicle does not have heat inside the cabin.
● The engine is running cold.

CAUSE:

Faulty thermostat

This bulletin supersedes Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 07-006-24, date of issue August 09, 2024,
which should be removed from your files. All revisions are highlighted with **asterisks** and include
an additional model year.
This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) has also been released as a Rapid Service Update (RSU) 24-112,
date of issue August 09, 2024. All applicable RSU VINs have been loaded. To verify this RSU service
action is applicable to the vehicle, use VIP or perform a VIN search in DealerCONNECT/Service Library.
All repairs are reimbursable within the provisions of warranty.

If a customer’s VIN is listed in VIP or your RSU VIN list, perform the repair. If any vehicle not on the VIN list
exhibits any of the symptom listed above in the customer symptom section, perform the Repair Procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Is this vehicle on the RSU list?
● YES >>> Proceed to Step 2.
● NO >>> This bulletin does not apply.
2. Replace the thermostat. Refer to the detailed service procedures listed in DealerCONNECT> Service
