Some customers may state that their Supercruise will drop out
every 30-60 seconds and may set DTC U1626 as a current or
history code. They can re-enable the Supercruise, and it will go
another 30-60 seconds and continue to drop out. This may
continue the entire ignition/drive cycle.
Cause
Software Anomaly
Correction:
Engineering is working on a fix.
There has been a temporary work around that may be performed to temporary correct this
issue until the engineering fix becomes available.
Please follow steps below:
1) Make sure the K179 Automated Driving Map Module has the most current software per
SPS programming
2) Remove the 10A F24DRA fuse from the F51R right hand fuse block .
3) Start the vehicle and allow the vehicle to idle for 1 hr. SEE NOTE BELOW.
Note: This vehicle is equipped with an auto shut down mode. If the vehicle is left in run
mode with the vehicle parked, it will automatically shut off in
30 minutes depending
on if the remote key fob is left in the vehicle. You can disable this feature for one key cycle
by holding the start/stop button for 10 seconds longer, when starting the vehicle, until a
message appears on the DIC that reads " Auto Shutdown Off". The truck will run until you
manually shut it off.
4) Turn Off Vehicle.
5) Re-install the 10A F24DRA fuse and clear all DTCs.
6) Test Drive. If the concern is still there, attempt above again for 1 more hour ONLY. the
entire validation period is 2 hours so if the first hour it is not corrected it needs another
hour.
