Porsche Development Center in Weissach and Manthey Racing GmbH.

Clean air intake.

Release door entry guard until the air intake
panels are accessible from the rear. For
instructions, see  Workshop Manual

Push the new air intake grille  3 -1, 2- from
the rear on the side air intake panel  3 -3-.

Install door entry guard. For instructions, see

Unscrew screws  5 -1- and remove rear
spoiler (wing)  5 -2-.
Help of another person is required.

Unscrew screws  5 -3- and remove
standard connecting pieces  5 -4-.

Install new connecting pieces  6 -1- and
screw in screws  6 -2-.
Use Loctite 241.
Do not tighten screws  9 -2- yet.

Install rear spoiler (wing) in a flat position
(road use).
For this purpose, screw in the rear screw  7
-1- into the top position and screw in the front
screw  7 -2- into the bottom position.
New micro-self-locking screws must be used
(999.073.509.03).
Help of another person is required.

Tighten screws  8 -1, 2-. Tightening
torque 8 Nm (5.9 ftlb.)

4.6

Center rear spoiler (wing).
The distance  9 -2- between the connecting
pieces  9 -1- must be identical on both
sides of the vehicle.

Tighten screws  9 -3-.
