Certain Maserati GranCabrio MY24 listed in MODISCS+ are involved in a Rapid Update to either
update the TBM software or replace the Telematics Box module (TBM) altogether.
On some vehicles, customers may experience Sirius XM radio satellite connectivity issues which
may result in a prompt message “Maserati Connect Module requires service” appearing on the MIA
display.
We remind you that all the Rapid Updates must be performed within the first workshop visit,
regardless of the Mandatory setting set in Modis, as required by Maserati policies.
Also, for vehicles in Stock Dealer / PDI, it is necessary to carry out all action operations before
delivery to the end customer, as required by the White Book and explicitly reported in the Predelivery checklist.
Please read and review this bulletin first before ordering parts and/or starting the procedure.

TBM Replacement + Check Software
1.
Replace the Telematic Box Module (TBM) following the instructions in the workshop manual:

8.71.224.00 - TELEMATICS BOX MODULE - Removal-Refitting or Replacement

When replacing the TBM, connect the diagnostic tool MD-EVO and follow the next steps:

BCM → Procedure → Proxi Alignment
▪
TBM → Procedure → TBM Replace

After the replacement, follow the dedicated procedure to unlock the connection:

Carry out a functional test.
5.
If the new TBM has already updated to the SW F188 52245562, the operation is completed; otherwise,
proceed with the next paragraph to install the new software.

Using MD-Evo, perform TBM – ECU Programming.
