PRIORITY: On Complaint
PURPOSE: To provide a software update to remedy the complaint of a DTC and drive behavior
On complaint of MIL on with DTC P0A80, “Replace Battery”, or a bucking behavior on moderate to high
demand throttle application, there is a software baseline update to remedy this concern. This will be
provided over the air.
Create a TSS case and await the coming over-the-air download. Place the vehicle in an area of good
cellular reception. When the down load is complete, when the vehicle is ready, power down. This will
issue a prompt , accept the “install”. The vehicle will update. When complete, test drive the vehicle, and
complete the TSS case, follow any instructions provided by the representative.
The BECM software level will reflect Baseline 1070 is installed.
Look in software version in the TPI under settings> BECM will display level 05520302.
If it is already at this no work is to be done, discuss with TSS on how to proceed.
