display before operation.
NOTICE
Refer to the Owner’s Manual section on “Starting the
Engine” for detailed operating instructions.
Digital and Analog Instrument Cluster

ABS Not Activated
Cold Drive Away Roughness
• Traction Control (TC) light is on and slowly flashing
until you reach 5 mph.
Concern: The motorcycle may experience rough
running conditions if started and driven in the first 30
seconds on a cold engine. The issue is most noticeable
around 2,000 RPM at very light loads.
Potential Cause: The after-start control parameters are
modified to quickly heat up the catalytic converter and
reduce tailpipe emissions to meet regulatory
requirements.
Traction Control

hydraulic, and the oil can bleed down over time causing
chain noise at start-up. There is no risk of engine
damage.
Chassis Fault
Troubleshooting and Resolution: Recommended that
the motorcycle is at operating temperature before
riding.
Low Battery Voltage
• The chassis fault light will be illuminated and the fuel
lever bar will be blinking, if the fuel level is low,. No
trouble codes will populate.
• The chassis fault light and battery light will be
illuminated if the battery is low. No trouble codes will
populate.
• The chassis fault light will be illuminated when the
engine is running and the side stand is down and
“S-STAND” will also be displayed. No trouble codes
