Introduction
Certain Peterbilt 535, 536, 537, 548 chassis may have mis-pinned wires for the Bluetooth system, which may cause Bluetooth to not function properly
when the driver tries to make/receive a call. This would result in no Bluetooth audio over the vehicle speakers.
Affected trucks will be inspected, and a wiring rework will be performed to correctly pin the Bluetooth wiring as needed to restore Bluetooth functionality.

Campaign
Service all chassis affected that enter your dealership, even if the customer has no issue with the chassis.
1. Review the attached chassis list for your dealer code and schedule your customer(s) for service if their chassis is on the list.
2. Review SIR for “Completed” next to the 51-017 Campaign code prior to performing this repair.
3. If using Service Management, select Campaign 51-017 to add it to the case. If the unit is released back into service without performing the repair,
make sure to also release the Campaign in Service Management.
4. Follow the procedures to inspect and/or re-pin the AM/FM radio and Bluetooth microphone harnesses in the “Links” section below.

For repairs completed by 05/01/2025, Peterbilt will pay for parts at dealer net plus applicable mark-up and labor:

0.4 hours to test and re-pin the AM/FM radio jumper harness P079 plug and Bluetooth microphone harness J95 plug. Use Quick Claim code 51017B.

EXPIRATION DATE: 04/01/2025

Dear Peterbilt Customer,
Peterbilt has decided that certain Model 535/536/537/548 chassis built from 06/05/2023 through 08/23/2023 may have mis-pinned wires for
the Bluetooth system, which may cause Bluetooth to not function properly when the driver tries to make/receive a call. This would result in
no Bluetooth audio over the vehicle speakers.

What is the issue?

Certain Model 535/536/537/548 chassis built from 06/05/2023 through 08/23/2023
may have mis-pinned wires for the Bluetooth system which may cause Bluetooth to
not function properly when the driver tries to make/receive a call.

What action will your dealer take?

Affected trucks will be inspected and a wiring rework will be performed to correctly
pin the Bluetooth wiring as needed to restore Bluetooth functionality.

What should you do?

Contact your dealer immediately to schedule an appointment.

Please contact a Peterbilt dealership to schedule an appointment for this improvement. To find your Peterbilt dealer, please visit the Dealer

in this letter. The work for this improvement will take approximately 1 hour of labor depending on vehicle configuration and dealer
scheduling. There will be no charge to you if completed within standard warranty or by 04/01/2025, whichever is later.

Peterbilt a constaté qu’il est possible que le système Bluetooth de certains véhicules de modèles 535/536/537/548, fabriqués entre le
05/06/2023 et le 23/06/2023, comporte des fils mal sertis, ce qui pourrait l’empêcher de fonctionner adéquatement lorsque le chauffeur
essaie de placer/recevoir un appel. Ceci pourrait faire en sorte qu’aucun son émanant du système Bluetooth ne puisse être entendu
par le biais des haut-parleurs du véhicule.
Quel est le problème ?

Il est possible que sur certains châssis de modèles 535/536/537/548, construits entre le
05/06/2023 et le 23/08/2023, les fils du système Bluetooth aient été mal sertis, ce qui
pourrait faire en sorte que le Bluetooth ne fonctionne pas adéquatement lorsque le
chauffeur essaie de placer/recevoir un appel.

Quelle action prendra votre

Les camions concernés seront inspectés et on procédera à la révision du câblage afin
de sertir adéquatement le câblage du Bluetooth, au besoin dans le but de rétablir sa
fonctionnalité.

communiquer avec votre concessionnaire Peterbilt, vous référer à la campagne 51-017 ainsi qu’aux NIVs listés à la présente. Le
travail requis pour cette amélioration nécessitera environ 1 heure de main-d’œuvre selon la configuration du véhicule et la disponibilité
du concessionnaire et sera effectué sans frais s’il est complété dans le cadre de la garantie de base ou avant le 01/04/2025, selon la
date la plus éloignée.

23/08/2023, podrían tener cables mal conectados en el sistema Bluetooth, lo que puede provocar un mal funcionamiento del Bluetooth
cuando el conductor intente hacer o recibir una llamada. Como consecuencia, los altavoces del vehículo no tendrían audio Bluetooth.

¿Cuál es el problema?

Determinados chasis de los modelos 535/536/537/548, construidos desde el
05/06/2023 hasta el 23/08/2023, podrían tener cables mal conectados en el
sistema Bluetooth, lo que puede provocar un mal funcionamiento del Bluetooth
cuando el conductor intente hacer o recibir una llamada.

¿Qué medidas tomará su
distribuidor?

Se inspeccionarán los camiones afectados y se llevará a cabo una reelaboración
del cableado Bluetooth para colocarlo de la manera correcta, según sea necesario,
y así restaurar la funcionalidad del Bluetooth.

Comuníquese con su distribuidor de inmediato para programar una cita.
