Description

This TRP is being issued to rebuild degraded fuel injectors with an improved helmet nozzle design
on certain X15 certified engines. This campaign enables repair locations under Service Provider
Codes 03750 and 02881 to receive, restore and return six rebuilt or ReCon fuel injectors to the
requesting primary service provider.

Note : Claims will ONLY be accepted from authorized Rebuild Locations, Service
Provider Codes 03750 and 02881.

Note : This field action provides retroactive coverage for repairs made prior to the
release of this publication.

Action

In order to qualify for repair under this field action, an engine:

1. will be covered Regardless of coverage status, and
2. must show as OPEN on QuickServe® Online for this field action.
3. injectors must be re-built at Service Locations under codes 03750 and 02881.

Note : The ESN list is attached for reference.

After verifying that the engine meets the above requirements, perform the following actions:

1. Upon receipt of degraded Fuel Injector set, complete the helmet nozzle replacement
installation for all received Fuel Injectors. Please refer to instructions provided by the Fuel
Systems Team.

2. Perform POP Test to verify mechanical functionality of the rebuilt fuel injectors and enter
results in the pre-assigned database as instructed by the Fuel Systems Team.

3. At the completion of the POP Test, package all six rebuilt Fuel Injectors into the original
packaging box. Replace the box if damaged.

Note : If any rebuilt Fuel Injector FAILS the POP Test, replace the failed injector
with an approved ReCon Fuel Injector, Cummins part number 6513589 the
requesting service location.

4. Please refer to Attachment B for return shipping instructions. Generate a new Shipping Label
as directed. For you convenience a QR Code has been provided to create and generate a
Shipping Label. As an alternative the url address has been provided. As needed, copy and
paste the url address into your desired browser and completed the label. Please refer to the
original shipping label for return address details.

Material Disposition

Where applicable, materials removed as a result of this field action must be returned to Cummins.
Parts flagged via the Cummins Enhanced Parts Return (EPR) process should be returned
following the stated instructions. Please return the parts to:

Note : Parts covered by the Field Action are to be returned to the Cummins Service
Support Center. Please include a copy of the claim paperwork and a material return tag
with the returned parts. Include the ESN number, the TRP# 7019, and the claim number
on the material return tag. For Cummins returns, record WebCumpas# on the outside of
the box. For PACCAR returns, record CRA# or Eztrac#. Items not flagged for EPR
should be returned to ReCon for core credit. Unless otherwise indicated, items with no
core liability can be scrapped.

repair. Please contact your Cummins Representative to secure the injector helmet
nozzles required to completed the rebuilds. Helmets are listed here as INFO ONLY and
cannot be claimed under the Parts section of the claim filing. Please refer to the Other

Note : Additional parts, such as o-rings, gaskets and fasteners, that are required to
complete the repair, but not listed, may be claimed in Other Claimables. Helmet nozzles
secured by means other than normal Cummins parts channels MUST be claimed as
Campaign Supplies. Helmet nozzles provided Free of Charge CANNOT be claimed.
Please consolidate all consumables and helmet nozzels and claim them as one single
line item in Other Claimables titled CAMPAIGN SUPPLIES or other appropriate
selections. Please include brief summaries on the details of items claimed. A lack of
documentation in the narrative may result in a reduction in claim reimbursement or
claim denial.
