Summary
Certain 2021~2022MY Elantra (CN7/CN7A) vehicles may exhibit a warning light with DTC C1620, caused by a distorted signal due to internal contamination of the front radar reception antenna. Customers may also report other systems related to the front radar being inoperative, such as Smart Cruise Control (SCC) or Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA

Description: Certain 2021~2022MY Elantra (CN7/CN7A) vehicles may exhibit a warning light with DTC
C1620, caused by a distorted signal due to internal contamination of the front radar reception antenna.
Customers may also report other systems related to the front radar being inoperative, such as Smart
Cruise Control (SCC) or Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA). Other functions of the Advanced
Driver Assistance System (ADAS) are not affected. Follow the procedure in this bulletin to replace the
affected front radar unit and perform all related adjustments according to Shop Manual instructions.

NOTE 2: If a part is found in need of replacement while performing this campaign and the affected
part is still under warranty, submit a separate claim using the same repair order. If the affected part is
out of warranty, submit a Prior Approval request for goodwill consideration prior to performing the
work.
NOTE 3: This TSB includes capturing a photo of the defective part with the new part and the
'Alignment Complete' screen in GDS. Op times include VIN, Mileage, and Repair validation photo(s)
as outlined in the Digital Documentation Policy.
