Some customers may comment
• "Shift to Park" message is displayed on the DIC
• No Start
Aside from seeing the message, technicians may find DTC B000A set.
Cause
The condition may be caused by a malfunction of the park switch inside of the shifter
assembly.
Correction
Inspect the terminals at the park switch for spread terminals. If the terminals are found to
be spread or damaged, replace the shifter control.
