PURPOSE
This Team Tip is designed to bring awareness to audio system changes starting in Model Year 2024 with RIDE COMMAND
7" Display software November 2023. In addition to new speakers, Model Year 2020+ Slingshot vehicles will now require
RIDE COMMAND 7" Display displays to have the appropriate tune file set during RIDE COMMAND 7" Display installation,
or when upgrading to the new speakers.
IMPORTANT
Failure to set the appropriate tune file, using the steps outlined in the following pages, will result in premature speaker
wear and a non-warrantable failure.

UPDATE OVERVIEW
• Audio Tune Selection: Digital Wrench II will be used to assign the appropriate tune file to the RIDE COMMAND 7”
Display based on the speakers installed. Failure to set the appropriate tune file will result in premature speaker wear and
a non-warrantable failure.
• Model Year 2024 New Features: 2-ohm woofer and tweeter speakers, Audio tune file selection with RIDE COMMAND
7” Display November 2023 software.
IDENTIFYING 2-OHM AND 4-OHM SPEAKERS
Each speaker is labeled with the resistance and part number as shown.
IMPORTANT
Do not mix 2-ohm and 4-ohm speakers. 2-ohm woofers and tweeters must be used together.

The Model Year 2024 tweeter q features a new dash orientation compared to the Model Year 2021-2023 tweeter w. Both
tweeters have a tag which are labeled with the part numbers as shown.

PROGRAMMING THE RIDE COMMAND DISPLAY
IMPORTANT
Prior to starting the tune file selection, the RIDE COMMAND 7” Display must have software version November 2023 or
higher.
Reference the accessory kit instructions or the service manual for more information on the appropriate selection.
AUDIO TUNE SELECTION
1. Connect vehicle to Digital Wrench II.
2. Select the vehicle.
3. Go to Procedures > Slingshot Configuration > Audio Tune Selection.
4. Select the appropriate tune file.
