Grecale – Gearbox Wiring Check

Certain Maserati Grecale (M182) MY23 MY24 listed in MODISCS+ are involved in a Rapid

Update to check the wiring of the automatic transmission on MHEV vehicles.

A specific batch of cars may have been equipped with a wiring harness loom that has retaining

clips improperly positioned. This misalignment could cause the harness to protrude, creating a

risk of it getting caught or pinched among nearby components. The procedure, therefore,

involves inspecting the wiring and, if necessary, replacing it to rectify the issue.

We remind you that all the Rapid Updates must be performed within the first workshop visit,

regardless of the Mandatory setting set in Modis, as required by Maserati policies.

Also, for vehicles in Stock Dealer / PDI, it is necessary to carry out all action operations before

delivery to the end customer, as required by the White Book and explicitly reported in the Predelivery checklist.

previously performed.

2. Safely lift the vehicle on a lift and inspect the area around the gearbox mounting cross member.

Ensure that the harness is free from any pinching between the cross-member and the body. For a visual

reference, please consult the provided images below for comparison.

NOT OK ► Damage to the wiring harness is found. Proceed to replace the gearbox

wiring harness (PN. 670216011) including the necessary hardware as indicated in the

workshop manual sections ► 03.10.067 AUTOMATIC GEARBOX WIRING Removal/refitting or Replacement and 03.10.063 00 GEARBOX MOUNTING CROSS
