And, at Britax, we are constantly striving to further enhance the consumer experience. Over the past few
days, you have been asking for more information directly from us on the Poplar recline indicator and
supplementary image in its user guide. We can confirm the rear-facing indicator labels are correct along
with the written instructions in the user guide. We do recognize there may be confusion by the
supplementary image on page 18. As a result, we have updated the user guide to remove this
supplementary image and have posted an updated user guide here:
https://us.britax.com/support/instructional-videos-and-user-manuals. If consumers want to request a

Thank you for reaching out with your question about the Poplar car seat. Regarding the rear facing
recline indicator, we apologize for any confusion you may have experienced. We can confirm that the
rear-facing indicator labels are attached correctly to the car seats. When the Poplar is installed rearfacing in one of the six recline positions, the white ball should fall within the blue section, and not in the
black section. The blue area represents the acceptable range for rear-facing recline angles. This range
provides flexibility so you can adjust the recline angle to one that is not only safe but also comfortable
and suitable for your child’s growth and developmental stage. You may disregard the supplementary
image on page 18 referring to maximum recline rear facing. If consumers have any further questions or
