Dear Forest River Customer:
Forest River is alerting you to an issue involving certain 2023 Coachmen Entourage Class C Motorhome Recreational
Vehicles. Please see the information below, which describes the issue and provides you with details on the steps you
should take to have your vehicle repaired.
WHAT IS THE ISSUE?
The fresh tank may be missing a brace which may allow the tank to press against a cabinet and cause damage to the
cabinet.
OWNERS: WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
Please contact your dealer immediately and request a service appointment to schedule the free repair. The vehicle
Owner is responsible for arranging to have the work completed. Please state you have been notified by Forest River of
the issue and provide the TSB number (located at the top of this page) to the dealership. It is also helpful to give the
dealership a copy of this letter when you take your vehicle in for the repair. You may visit www.forestriverinc.com to
search for dealer locations.
HOW LONG WILL THE REMEDY PROCESS TAKE?
The estimated time of repair is 2.5 hours. However, the dealership may need to keep your vehicle or schedule an
appointment with you for a later date to fit into their regular service schedule.

Concern:

The fresh-water tank (above floor mount) may press
against a cabinet, causing the cabinet to fracture
unnecessarily. Adding the brackets will help tank from
“ballooning” which may result of the fresh-water tank.

Turn off LP Gas at LPG Tank(s). Disconnect the vehicles’ battery Positive and Negative, disconnect any
House battery(s) Positive and Negative, if equipped with a generator ensure it is off and lastly, ensure the
vehicle is disconnected from shore power. Block any tires/wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling.
Failure to do so may result in electrocution, fire or other personal injury, property damage and/or death.
TOOLS NEEDED:
SCREW GUN
#2 SQUARE BIT
OSCILLATING CUTTING TOOL
PRY TOOL
D10 STAPLE GUN & STAPLES (OR SIMILAR)
IMPORTANT: FRESH WATER TANK IS REQUIRED TO BE EMPTY TO PERFORM THIS REMEDY
PROCEDURE:
REMOVE THE CABINET FRONT FROM THE CABINET ASSEMBLY TO THE LEFT OF THE WASHER/DRYER CABINET
*NOTE: RETAIN ALL SCREWS/FASTENERS FOR REUSE FOR REINSTALLATION*
STEP 1: REMOVE THE INTERIOR SIDE PANELS IN THE UPPER WARDROBE CABINET; THIS WILL INVOLVE REMOVING THE CLOSET BAR;
STEP 2: REMOVE THE LOWER FLOOR OF THE UPPER WARDROBE CABINET; THERE ARE 4 SCREWS HOLDING IT DOWN INSIDE THE
CABINET. IF THE FLOOR IS DIFFICULT TO REMOVE, THERE MAY BE A SCREW OR TWO GOING UP INTO THE FLOOR FROM THE
EXTERIOR ENTERTAINMENT CENTER CABINET CEILING;
STEP 3: MEASURE TO THE CENTER OF THE TANK FROM THE SIDE OF THE CABINET; MARK THE CENTER POINT ON THE VISIBLE
CABINET FRONT CLEAT;
STEP 4: REMOVE THE LOWER FRESH WATER TANK ACCESS PANEL (4 SCREWS HOLD IT IN PLACE);
STEP 5: REMOVE THE SCREWS HOLDING THE CABINET FRONT IN PLACE. THERE WILL 3 ON THE LEFT OF THE OPENING IN THE
UPPER WARDROBE, 3 ACROSS THE CEILING CLEAT, 3 ON THE RIGHT OF THE UPPER WARDROBE, 3 ACROSS THE FLOOR
INSIDE THE OPENING, AND 3 COMING IN FROM THE SIDE INSIDE THE WASHER/DRYER OPENING;
STEP 6: THE CABINET FRONT SHOULD PULL AWAY FROM THE CABINET; IF IT DOESN’T FREELY MOVE AWAY, USE A SMALL PRY TOOL
TO SEPARATE THE FRONT FROM THE CABINET;
MODIFY THE CABINET FRONT:
STEP 1: USING THE MARK NOTING THE CENTER POSITION OF THE WATER TANK, A 6.5 INCH NOTCH NEEDS TO BE CREATED IN THE
CLEATS IN THE LOWER PART OF THE FRONT (X 3);
• MARK THE CENTER POINT LOCATION ON THE OTHER TWO CLEATS, PLACE A MARK 3.25 INCHES ON BOTH SIDES OF THE
CENTER MARK TO CREATE THE 6.5 INCH SPACE TO REMOVE;
• USING AN OSCILLATING OR SIMILAR TOOL, CAREFULLY CUT/NOTCH THE CLEATS AT THE TWO MARKS WITHOUT DAMAGING
THE CABINET FRONT STILES;
• THE CLEAT BEHIND THE CENTER STILE, NOW TWO PIECES, MAY NEED SECURED SO IT DOES NOT MOVE;
STEP 2: NOTCH THE WARDROBE FLOOR CLEAT IN THE BACK OF THE CABINET, ON THE OUTSIDE WALL. SIMILARLY MARK THE TANK
CENTER POINT AND CUT A 6.5 INCH NOTCH;

INSTALLING THE BRACKET:
STEP 1: PLACE STEEL BRACE (F100453191) OVER THE CENTER OF THE FRESH WATER TANK. THE TOP END WILL SIT INSIDE OF THE
CLEAT NOTCH TO THE SIDEWALL AND THE BOTTOM SHOULD REST ON THE FLOOR FULLY;
STEP 2: SECURE IN PLACE TO THE FLOOR AND SIDEWALL USING THE PROVIDED TORX SCREWS;
STEP 3: ADD 2 SELF-TAPPING SCREWS THROUGH THE EXTERIOR ENTERTAINMENT CENTER CABINET CEILING INTO THE BRACE;
RE-ASSEMBLE THE CABINET ASSEMBLY:
STEP 1: REINSTALL THE CABINET FRONT, USING SCREWS PREVIOUSLY REMOVED IN SAME OR NEAR LOCATIONS;
STEP 2: REINSTALL THE WARDROBE CABINET FLOOR AND SECURE WITH PREVIOUSLY REMOVED SCREWS IN SAME LOCATIONS;
STEP 3: REINSTALL SIDE PANELS AND STAPLE IN PLACE. TRIM WITH FLAT BATTENS IF NECESSARY;
STEP 4: CLEAN AREA;
STEP 5: CLAIM REPAIR CODE.

Débranchez les bornes positives et négatives de la batterie et de toute autre batterie auxiliaire, si une génératrice
est installée, assurez-vous qu'elle est à l'arrêt et enfin assurez-vous que le véhicule n'est pas branché à une
alimentation électrique extérieure. Bloquez les pneus et les roues pour empêcher le véhicule de bouger. Le nonrespect de ces règles peut provoquer une électrocution, un incendie, des dommages à la propriété ou des
blessures personnelles, et même la mort.
OUTILLAGE REQUIS :
• TOURNEVIS AVEC POINTE CARRÉE ROBERTSON #2
• SCIE OSCILLANTE
• OUTIL À LAME RIGIDE
• AGRAFEUSE D10 OU SIMILAIRE
IMPORTANT : LE RÉSERVOIR D’EAU FRAÎCHE DOIT ÊTRE VIDÉ AVANT D’EFFECTUER CETTE CORRECTION
PROCÉDURE :
RETIREZ D’ABORD LE DEVANT DU CABINET DE SON ASSEMBLAGE, À GAUCHE DU CABINET DE LA LAVEUSE
ET SÉCHEUSE À LINGE. CONSERVEZ TOUTES LES VIS ET FIXATIONS POUR LA RÉINSTALLATION.
ÉTAPE 1: RETIREZ LES PANNEAUX DE CHAQUE CÔTÉ DU CABINET AU-DESSUS DE LA GARDE-ROBE. VOUS
DEVREZ RETIRER LA BARRE HORIZONTALE.
ÉTAPE 2 : RETIREZ LE PANNEAU DU BAS (PLANCHER) DU CABINET AU-DESSUS DE LA GARDE-ROBE. IL EST
FIXÉ PAR QUATRE VIS À L’INTÉRIEUR DU CABINET. SI CE PANNEAU EST DIFFICILE À RETIRER, IL PEUT SE
TROUVER UNE OU DEUX VIS QUI LE MAINTIENNENT PAR LE BAS PAR DES VIS SITUÉES DANS LE PLAFOND DU
CABINET DU CENTRE DE DIVERTISSEMENT EXTÉRIEUR.
ÉTAPE 3: MESUREZ LE CENTRE DU RÉSERVOIR À PARTIR DU CÔTÉ DU CABINET. MARQUEZ CE POINT
CENTRAL SUR LA PARTIE VISIBLE DE LA BORDURE À L’AVANT DU CABINET.
ÉTAPE 4: RETIREZ LE PANNEAU D’ACCÈS INFÉRIEUR DU RÉSERVOIR D’EAU FRAÎCHE, IL EST RETENU PAR
QUATRE VIS ;
ÉTAPE 5: RETIREZ LES VIS MAINTENANT LE DEVANT DU CABINET EN PLACE. VOUS EN TROUVEREZ TROIS À
GAUCHE DE L’OUVERTURE DE LA GARDE-ROBE DU HAUT, TROIS LE LONG DE LA LANGUETTE DU PLAFOND,
TROIS SUR LA DROITE DE LA GARDE-ROBE DU HAUT, TROIS À TRAVERS LE PLANCHER DANS L’OUVERTURE
ET ENFIN TROIS À L’INTÉRIEUR DE L’OUVERTURE DU CABINET DE LA LAVEUSE ET SÉCHEUSE À LINGE.
ÉTAPE 6: LE DEVANT DU CABINET DEVRAIT POUVOIR ÊTRE RETIRÉ DU CABINET. AU BESOIN, UTILISEZ LA
LAME RIGIDE COMME LEVIER ;
MODIFICATION DE L’AVANT DU CABINET
ÉTAPE 1:
• EN UTILISANT LA MARQUE DE LA POSITION CENTRALE DU RÉSERVOIR, UNE ENCOCHE DE 6,5
POUCES (165MM) DOIT ÊTRE CRÉÉ DANS LA LANGUETTE DU BAS À L’AVANT
• MARQUEZ L’EMPLACEMENT DU POINT CENTRAL SUR LES DEUX AUTRES LANGUETTES, ET FAITES
UNE MARQUE À 3,25 POUCES (82MM) DE CHAQUE CÔTÉ DE CETTE MARQUE POUR CRÉER UN ESPACE
DE 6,5 POUCES (165MM) À ÊTRE ENLEVÉ.
• LA LANGUETTE À L’ENDOS DU CADRE AVANT DU CABINET, MAINTENANT DIVISÉE EN DEUX
MORCEAUX, DOIT ÊTRE BIEN FIXÉE POUR NE PAS BOUGER.

EXTÉRIEUR. COMMENT L’ÉTAPE PRÉCÉDENTE, FAITES UNE MARQUE INDIQUANT LE CENTRE DU
RÉSERVOIR ET DÉCOUPEZ UNE ENCOCHE DE 6.5 POUCES (165MM)
INSTALLATION DU SUPPORT
ÉTAPE 1 : PLACEZ LE SUPPORT EN ACIER (F100453191) SUR LE CENTRE DU RÉSERVOIR D’EAU FRAÎCHE.
L’EXTRÉMITÉ SUPÉRIEURE S’APPUIERA DANS L’ENCOCHE DU CÔTÉ DU MUR ET LE BAS DEVRAIT REPOSER
COMPLÈTEMENT SUR LE PLANCHER.
ÉTAPE 2 : FIXEZ-LE EN PLACE SOLIDEMENT AU PLANCHER ET AU MUR EN UTILISANT LES VIS TORX
FOURNIES.
ÉTAPE 3 : AJOUTER DEUX VIS AUTO-PERÇANTES À TRAVERS LE PLAFOND DU CABINET DU CENTRE DE
DIVERTISSEMENT EXTÉRIEUR POUR FIXER LE SUPPORT D’ACIER.
RÉASSEMBLAGE DU CABINET
ÉTAPE 1 : RÉINSTALLEZ LE DEVANT DU CABINET, AVEC LES VIS RETIRÉES PRÉCÉDEMMENT AUX MÊMES
EMPLACEMENTS
ÉTAPE 2 : RÉINSTALLEZ LE PLANCHER DU CABINET DE LA GARDE-ROBE ET FIXEZ-LE AVEC LES VIS
RETIRÉES PRÉCÉDEMMENT AUX MÊMES EMPLACEMENTS
