SITUATION

Gap between the windshield lateral seal and

the A-pillar(s).
CAUSE

The strength of the adhesive seal is insufficient.
CORRECTION

Apply double sided adhesive tape as shown in the photo below.
PROCEDURE

Verify that gap between the windshield lateral seal and A-pillar exists. If yes, continue to step 1.

1. Using isopropanol, clean the adhesive contact surfaces on the A-pillar and lateral seal.

2. Allow the adhesive contact surface to dry.

3. Cut the double sided adhesive tape to the same

length as the gap on the seal. Apply the adhesive

tape onto the existing adhesive tape of the

windshield lateral seal. Apply from top to bottom!

Note: The outer edge of the new adhesive tape

must be flush with the existing tape, to prevent

it from being visible
4. Using a plastic wedge tool, press onto the

adhesive tape from the inside of the seal.

Hold time 5 seconds.
