WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
1. First and foremost there are no adjustments that will alter the wipe area. When the system is assembled, it
is placed into a fixture and set to exact tolerances and operation for the Entegra coach line. The delay/idler
assembly has been specifically set and the linkage has been drilled and pop riveted to eliminate
unauthorized adjustments. Any adjustments to the linkage lengths or any alterations to the system without
prior approval or instruction will absolutely void any remaining warranty.

2. The “stringer bracket/bar” is preloaded with all of the wiper components and we install it as one single
piece. This is installed with plexus (2 part epoxy) and screwed to the backer of the cap. The holes that are
drilled in the cap are just there for pass through of the shaft. Some units you will see a washer on the
outside of cap, while others will just have the nut. See below pictures. Don’t be alarmed, the shaft nut is
not what is holding the wiper system in place. There will be some slight left to right play in the hole on the
front cap, this is normal.
a. NOTE: Depending on the level
of ''sloppiness'' is more than
likely a result of repeated
removal and reinstallation of
the wiper arms.
b. The pivot shaft splines (Figure 1)
may be ''Loaded'' with material
from the wiper arms. The pivot
shafts are made of hardened
steel and are not stripped,
simply loaded with the soft
material from the wiper arm
head (Figure 2). The splines on
the pivot shaft can be cleaned
using a utility knife or wire

brush before the installation of
the new arms.
3. The Curb side wiper arm:
a. Should be installed with the blade parallel with the bottom of the windshield.
b. Tighten the nut (Figure 3) that holds the arm to the pivot shaft and torque to 65-70 ft. lbs.
i. NOTE: Do not operate
the system at this point.
c. Wait approximately 45 minutes
and re-torque to 65-70 ft. lbs.

4. The Driver's side arm
a. Should be parked in the
position where the outer tip
of the wiper blade will be
setting approximately 1''-1.5''
above horizontal.
b. Tighten the nut (Figure 3)
that holds the arm to the
pivot shaft and torque to 6570 ft. lbs.
i. NOTE: Do not
operate the system at
this point.
c. Wait approximately 45
minutes and re-torque to 6570 ft. lbs.
