SERVICE:
If the symptom is confirmed, proceed with replacement of the rear brake pads according to the VIDA.
Note: In some cases, Brake discs may need to be replaced.
If the Brake disc is judged as damaged (visual check), proceed with replacement according to the VIDA
Note: This issue normally occurs on the inboard pads, which can be difficult to see. If the customer’s
symptoms match this TJ, completely remove the pads from the caliper brackets to be able to thoroughly
inspect all the pad and rotor friction surfaces.
