BERGSTROM ACCUATOR CONNECTIONS
1.

Access the firewall by opening the generator door:
A. Aspire Units – Manual slide
i. Open the fuse compartment directly under the
driver’s side window.
ii. Pull the “T” handle inside the compartment to
release the generator slide tray.
iii. Pull on the bottom front of the generator slide.
B. Anthem/Cornerstone – Pneumatic power slide
mechanism (Figure 1)
i. Make sure there is an unobstructed path at least
3 feet forward of the motor home. Set the
parking brake.
ii. Check the air gauges on the chassis dash panel
to confirm there is at least 90 pounds of air
pressure. If necessary, turn ON the chassis
engine and build up air pressure. Turn OFF the
chassis engine once proper air pressure is

reached.
iii. Push button to put the ignition to the ON position.
iv. The switch is a momentary switch. You must press and hold the switch in the EXTEND position to
open the generator slide. If you release the switch, the slide stops moving. If you press EXTEND
again, the slide continues opening. Release the retract switch after fully extending the slide.

Locate and remove Access Panel –
remove the (6) fasteners using a 5/16,
A. NOTE: The black expandable
foam has a fastener that is
covered. (Figure 3) Remove
the foam to gain access to the
actuator connections.
