Summary
Some customers may complain the A/C blows warm. This may be caused by one of two things. Cause 1: After accelerating in hot weather, the A/C blows warm air for a longer time than other models. This is caused by improper control software of the PCM not allowing the A/C compressor to resume properly after acceleration. During a hard acceleration above a certain throttle level opening, the PCM stops the A/C compressor operation for better acceleration. It then resumes the compressor operation after the acceleration. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the PCM has been modified. Cause 2: Insufficient cooling performance at ambient temperature of around 68 ðF (20 ðC) in daytime. This is caused when both the ambient temperature and the cabin temperature are at around 20 ðC (68 ðF), auto A/C set at around 20 ðC (68 ðF) may not cool down the cabin temperature properly. To eliminate this concern, control software of the dash-electrical supply unit (Dash-ESU) has been modified.

DESCRIPTION
Some customers may complain the A/C blows warm. This may be caused by one of two things.
• Cause 1: After accelerating in hot weather, the A/C blows warm air for a longer time than other models. This is
caused by improper control software of the PCM not allowing the A/C compressor to resume properly after
acceleration. During a hard acceleration above a certain throttle level opening, the PCM stops the A/C compressor
operation for better acceleration. It then resumes the compressor operation after the acceleration. To eliminate
this concern, the control software of the PCM has been modified.
• Cause 2: Insufficient cooling performance at ambient temperature of around 68 °F (20 °C) in daytime. This is
caused when both the ambient temperature and the cabin temperature are at around 20 °C (68 °F), auto A/C set
at around 20 °C (68 °F) may not cool down the cabin temperature properly. To eliminate this concern, control
software of the dash-electrical supply unit (Dash-ESU) has been modified.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

NOTE:
• If the current calibration file name in the ECU FILENAME screen is the same as shown in the Calibration Files
Information or with a later suffix, reprogramming is not necessary.
• After reprogramming, pending DTC P2610:00 [PCM] will be stored without the Check Engine Light ON. Start the
engine and clear the DTC.
• If DTC U2120:00 or/and U2500:82 are stored and i-ACTIVSENSE warning light (amber) turns on after the
reprogramming, refer to SA-036/19.
3. Clear the DTC, turn the ignition off, and get out of the vehicle.
4. Close and lock the door.
5. Wait for at least ten minutes.
6. Verify the repair by starting the engine and making sure the Check Engine light is OFF and no abnormal warning lights
are ON.
NOTE: If any DTC should remain after performing a DTC erase, diagnose the DTC according to the instructions on
MGSS.
