Our records indicate that a PRODUCT UPDATE has not been completed on this vehicle (Vehicle Identification
Number [VIN NUMBER]). On Clarity Plug-in Hybrid vehicles, there is a software error in the miles per gallon
calculation, which affects the HV range display and causes it to read unusually high.
What will Honda do?
The dealer will update the meter software for FREE.
Please contact any authorized Honda dealer and make an appointment to have your vehicle repaired for FREE.
Once you make an appointment for your vehicle, be advised that the total process may take approximately
15 minutes. However, your dealer can provide you with a better estimate of the overall time for this service visit,
as it may be necessary to make your vehicle available for a longer period of time. If you are not the only driver of
this vehicle, please advise all other drivers and passengers of this important information.
