Reprogramming of E-Shock GPS Module code 8000C9312 (E5 version)

Following a continuous monitoring of our product quality, an update of the E5 E-Shock GPS module code 8000C9312 has been
made available on the specified vehicles.
The new software makes it possible to optimise the transmission and management of signals generated by the GPS module.
We ask you to ensure that this is checked and restored at the time of pre-delivery, during a maintenance service or at the
earliest opportunity at your workshop.
Problems on motorbikes related to outdated software or software intended for another vehicle may affect the approval of
warranty claims, therefore, we ask that you take special care to ALWAYS update motorbikes in transit through your
workshop.

SOFTWARE CONTROL PROCEDURE / REPROGRAMMING OF THE E-Shock E5 GPS MODULE cod. 8000C9312:
It is possible to identify the motorbikes to be updated by connecting them to the TEXA diagnosis using the "GPS MODULE"
environment: within the "ECU UPDATE" environment, the reprogramming function of the GPS module code 8000C9312 that
equips E5 vehicles has been enabled.
Below is the procedure:

Update your TEXA Navigator diagnostic tool by connecting the computer with the IDC5 software to the internet, select
"Check Updates" and start the download to download version 35.0.1. \ MAP 4157 or higher.
Check that the vehicle's battery voltage is above 12.5 V and keep the original charger connected throughout the whole
procedure.
Connect the TEXA diagnosis to the vehicle following the guided system procedure, taking care to select the MY 21
relevant to your vehicle.
To proceed with the update, select the "ECU UPDATE" environment and the "GPS REPROGRAMMING" item.
It is necessary to install the latest software version named "v0.30" (identified as software version 00.0030.0000).
To check the code of the software installed in the GPS module of the motorbike, you can check the "ECU INFO" screen
related to the GPS module:

If the software version "v0.30" is already present, no further operations are necessary.
If other software versions are present, proceed with the update following the procedure indicated below.

Check that the battery voltage is above 12.5 V and keep the original charger connected throughout the update.
WARNING: Do not interrupt or disconnect the diagnosis during the updating operations. If programming is
interrupted before completion, the GPS module may be irreparably damaged and may need to be replaced. Make
sure to perform the complete reprogramming without interrupting or disconnecting the devices.

Remaining in the "ECU UPDATE" environment related to the GPS module, go to the "MAPPINGS" section and select the
new software named "v0.30". Press "START" to proceed with the loading of the new software:

Carefully follow the procedure requested by the system; no password will be required.
Proceed to delete any errors in all the environments available in the "AUTODIAGNOSIS" section.
Carry out a dynamic test of the vehicle to check that it is functioning correctly.
