Vehicles involved in this field action were placed on stop delivery on July 13, 2022. Once the service
procedure contained in this bulletin has been performed on the vehicle and the vehicle is released from
stop delivery then vehicle can be delivered to the customer.
All involved vehicles that are in dealer inventory must be held and not delivered to customers, dealer
traded, or used for demonstration purposes until the repair contained in this bulletin has been performed
on the vehicle.

This service update should be performed on vehicles in dealer inventory only. Involved vehicles are marked “Open” on
the Investigate Vehicle History screen in GM Global Warranty Management system. This site should always be checked
to confirm vehicle involvement prior to beginning any required inspections and/or repairs.

missing/built shy on the vehicle.

*IMPORTANT: Vehicles will arrive at dealers with some fasteners pre-installed. Additional fasteners are
provided in a bag stowed in the driver’s side of the rear cargo area. Fastener/retainer part numbers are
provided as a reference only, should one fastener be lost and need replacement. DO NOT ORDER THESE
PARTS UNLESS LOST OR IF A REPLACEMENT IS NEEDED.
Parts Pre-Ship Information
Important: The initial supply of wheel liners (84364222, 84364223, 84364224 and 23462468) required to complete this
field action will be pre-shipped as the vehicle is received or in transit to involved dealers of record. This pre-shipment is
scheduled to begin the week of 9/5/22 and conclude when all vehicles have been shipped to dealers of record. Preshipped parts will be charged to dealer’s open parts account.
If additional wheel liners are required, they are to be obtained from GMCC&A. When ordering order parts, order as a
CSO = Customer Special Order only. DRO’s may be cancelled. Place the VIN in the note field. All orders may write to
backorder until we have sufficient inventory to cover the pre-ship.
Reminder: Parts may be removed from Retail Inventory Management (RIM). Dealers should review the affected parts
to confirm RIM managed status. Parts may have quantity limiters in effect.

1.

Inspect the paperwork provided with the vehicle to determine which Wheelhouse Liners need to be installed.

2.

Retrieve the bag of fasteners from the rear cargo area.

3.

Install the Wheelhouse Liner(s) indicated on the paperwork. Refer to the following SI procedures.
•

Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Equinox) – use part number 84364222

•

Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Equinox) – use part number 84364223

•

Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Equinox) – use part number 84364224

•

Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Right Side (Equinox) – use part number 23462468

Dealer Responsibility
Dealers must take the steps necessary to ensure that the necessary wheelhouse liner(s) has been installed to all involved
vehicles in dealer inventory before selling or dealer-trading the vehicle.
All new, used, GM Certified Used, courtesy transportation vehicles, dealer shuttle vehicles, etc. in dealers' possession
and subject to this bulletin must be held and inspected/repaired per the service procedure of this bulletin before customers
take possession of these vehicles. Involved vehicles must be held and not delivered to customers, dealer-traded,
released to auction, used for demonstration, or any other purpose.
All GM Certified Used vehicles currently in the dealers’ inventory within the Certified Pre-Owned Inventory System
(CPOIS) will be de-certified and must be held and remedied per the service procedure in this bulletin. Upon submitting
an accepted/paid warranty transaction in the Global Warranty Management (GWM) system, the vehicle can be re-certified
for sale within the CPOIS system, or once again be used in the CTP program.

On July 13, 2022, General Motors announced a stop delivery order via GCUS3-2575 for certain 2022 model year Chevrolet Equinox vehicles. These
vehicles may have arrived at, or are still in transit to, your dealership and may
be missing the front and/or rear wheelhouse liners.
We are pleased to announce that we are releasing the repair bulletin for
N222376920 today. The total number of U.S. vehicles involved is approximately
8,500. Please see the attached bulletin for details.
Important: The initial supply of wheel liners required to complete this field action
will be pre-shipped as the vehicle is received, or in transit to, involved dealers of
record. This pre-shipment is scheduled to begin the week of 9/5/2022 and
conclude when all vehicles have been shipped to dealers of record. Pre-shipped
parts will be charged to dealer’s open parts account.
Pre-shipped parts must be used to retrofit vehicles that are marked OPEN in IVH.
Other vehicles will remain in Incomplete-Remedy Not Available status and will
move to OPEN status in IVH as the pre-shipment continues. Once the service
procedure contained in the bulletin has been performed on the vehicle, the
vehicle is released from stop delivery and the vehicle can be delivered to the
customer.
It is imperative that these vehicles are NOT sold or delivered to customers until
the final repair has been completed.
Global Warranty Management (GWM)
The Required Field Action section on the Investigate Vehicle History (IVH) screen will
begin to be updated September 8, 2022. Please refer to IVH in GWM regularly to
confirm the status of VINs. Please verify a VINs involvement in this field action by
checking in IVH. IVH is the best source for individual VIN inquiries. A list of all involved
vehicles in dealer inventory and in transit is attached to this message. Please hold all
warranty transactions until IVH has been updated.
