Furthering the quality improvement process of our products, we have decided to introduce a product
update, which will include a new clutch housing and cush drive for the models listed below.
Please update those models within your inventory and customer vehicles during a service
interval or at the first convenient opportunity.
We ask that those customers who have mileage greater than 3,000 miles should be given priority.



MODEL TURISMO VELOCE up to VIN ….V001790 included

WARRANTY – AUTHORIZATION PROCEDURE
In order to receive the Auto Shipped Warranty Parts fully complete and submit a Warranty Claim
following the guidelines stated in this bulletin. Please note SB 168 as well as “Pre Authorized. Parts to
be Auto Shipped” in the DESCR. Inconvenience section of the claim.
Note that you are no longer required to submit an Authorization Form. The parts order is now
generated with the claim submission.
DO NOT order the spare part code W000W1373 CLUTCH HOUSING KIT at this time. This kit will be
auto-shipped to you once the warranty claim has been received.
The kit will include the following parts:
(1) CLUTCH HOUSING
(3) ABSORBER, HUB SHOCK 70SH
(3) ABSORBER, HUB SHOCK 80SH
(1) GASKET, CLUTCH
Upon receipt of the spare parts proceed with the update using the appropriate workshop and parts manuals
as well as the guide provided below.

CLUTCH UPDATE PROCEDUE – TURISMO VELOCE - (SB168)


Remove the clutch (it is NOT necessary to remove the engine oil)



Place on the workbench the clutch housing and remove the six screws that hold the
mounting plate



Replace the rubber cush drive (lubricating
them with engine oil to facilitate the
insertion) with new type ones, black and
green included in the kit as shown in the
picture:



Place the new rubber cush drive on the
clutch housing with the inscription "UP"
upwards, and alternating the two colors
(black - green) as in the picture:



Assemble the clutch housing making sure
that the O-ring does not get pinched in
between, using some grease in order to
keep it in place as pictured:



Reassemble the clutch housing, fixing the
plate with the 6 screws and using some
medium Loctite on the thread tightening
them to 10 Nm as picture:



Complete the repair in all its parts



Test the motorcycle before delivery to the customer

Once the update has been completed please send an email to [email protected] stating the
work has been completed.

In the “Descr. Inconvenience” section please remember to note SB168 and state “Pre Authorized. Parts to
be Auto Shipped”.
Once the update has been completed please send an email to [email protected] stating the
work has been completed. Place the Warranty Claim Number and VIN in the Subject Header.
To ensure customer satisfaction please perform the operation, described above, as soon as possible and at
the convenience of the customer.
