Furthering the quality improvement process of our products, we have decided to introduce a new
shock absorber spring preload adjuster support plate.
Please update the following models within your inventory and customer vehicles
during a service interval or at the first convenient opportunity.



MODEL - TURISMO VELOCE - ALL models up to VIN ….V001790 included

PLEASE NOTE: PARTS ARE NOT TO BE ORDERED. PARTS WILL BE AUTO-SHIPPED.
MATERIALS TO BE USED IN THE PROCEDURE:

- (1 part) 8000C3196 SUPP. REGOLATORE PRECARICO (SUPPORT PLATE)
- (2 parts) 8F00B2688 VITE TCEIF M6X1-L25 (BOLT)
OPERATING PROCEDURE: REPLACEMENT OF THE SHOCK ABSORBER SPRING PRELOAD
SUPPORT PLATE
1. Remove the fixing screw of the shock absorber spring preload adjuster support
plate (1) and the spring preload adjuster fixing screw (2).

2. Replace the plate with part 8000C3196 and secure the spring preload adjuster using the
screw 8F00B2688 and tighten to 10 Nm with Loctite 243.
3. Attach the new shock absorber spring preload adjuster support plate to the frame and
tighten at 10 Nm with Loctite 243.
4. Using the appropriate workshop and parts manuals reassemble any additional parts that
may have been removed. Test the motorcycle before delivery to the customer.

Warranty Procedure:
In order to initiate the Auto Shipment of parts the warranty claim will need to filed and submitted
prior to completing the repair. Please use the filing guidelines below and state in the notes section
“Pre Authorized. Parts to be Auto Shipped”. Once the work has been completed the claim will be
reimbursed upon receipt of an email stating that the work is completed.

has been completed. Place the Warranty Claim Number and VIN in the Subject Header.
