NOTE: Motorcycles with higher VIN have already been updated by MV Agusta.

With the following Technical Communication, we inform you that a new mapping update is now
available for the TURISMO VELOCE – TURISMO VELOCE LUSSO – EDITION 1 USA\CANADA.
The contents of the new map update introduce improvements to the electronic throttle control and
engine cranking strategies as well as refining and improving the traction control functionality.

It is important that attention is paid in choosing the correct map for
the model, model year, VIN and version.
If you have any doubt on the choice of the correct mapping, we advise you to contact your MV
Agusta After Sales Technical Manager.
The installation of a different map from the expected one will be at the exclusive responsibility
of the Dealer.
MV AGUSTA MOTOR S.p.A. declines all responsibilities for any consequence (Civil and/or Penal
and/or Administrative) that the Dealer or third persons might incur due to the modification of the
motorbike ECU and/or a different utilization of the motorbike that is contrary to limits and prohibitions
provided from the local Law and Regulation concerning homologated power of motorbikes that are
destined to be used on public roads.

We ask you to perform the remapping procedure during initial set-up and before consignment
to the customer, during a service operation or at the first convenient opportunity at your
workshop.

TOOLS NECESSARY FOR THE UPDATE:
TEXA Navigator IDC4 with software multi brand and cable 3151/AP34.
 Re-mapping the ECU:
- Update your TEXA Navigator IDC4 instrument by connecting it to the internet with the software
IDC4, select “Software check” and begin the download of the version 26.0.0.A
- Check that the battery voltage is higher than 12.5 V and keep the battery charger connected
during the entire duration of reprogramming operations.
- Select “Bike – Diagnosis – Motorcycles - MV Agusta” and the desired motorcycle model,
- Press “ECU Update” followed by “Injection Reprogramming” and then the ECU ELDOR
- Select “self-diagnosis”.
- Connect to the motorcycle following the instructions of the program and then select “MAPPINGS”.
Installation of the new mapping requires t h a t the T E X A U N I T h a s the BTMV5D-0600 boot
before reprogramming: check the presence of boot BTMV5D-0600; if the unit is not equipped with
the boot described above proceed with updating following the instructions below:
• if the BOOT500 version is present:
- Update the boot software by selecting the "BTMV5D-0600" file; This boot can be loaded without
password; follow the instructions of the program to complete the installation.
• if the BOOT300 version is present:
- Update the boot software by selecting the "BootPATCHrev8474" file that allows the passage from
boot300 to boot600 with a single program; This boot can be loaded without password; follow the
instructions of the program to complete the installation.
At the end of the BOOT600 programming wait 10 seconds before switching off the key/power
After the BOOT reprogramming follow the previously described connection procedure for
reconnecting the TEXA diagnosis system in order to proceed with installation of the map:
- Select "ECU Update" environment, then ”Injection reprogramming " and finally the ELDOR ECU
unit.
- Select "self-diagnosis".
- Connect the motorcycle following the instructions of the program and select "MAPPINGS" area.
- Install new ECU map by highlighting the file to your market:
• USA \ CANADA market: "0802MP05" to be activated with the password “NEMO#D16svg16”
Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
- After the ECU flashing, verify in "ECU INFO" area that the code of the Calibration Version /
installed map is correct.
- Exit from current menu “ECU Update” and open menu “Self-diagnosis”.
- Select “Petrol injection” and the ECU model.
- Select “Setting” and then “Reset self-adapting parameters” follow the instructions to complete the
operation.
- Start the engine and let idle until cooling fan turns on. Do not manipulate
the throttle during this phase.
- Test the motorcycle before consignment to the customer in order to verify the correct functioning.
