the same time the vehicle is in the workshop for this campaign.

Audi is conducting a special parts collection program involving the head curtain airbags from
selected 2013-2017 model year Audi Q5 vehicles.
Under this program:

All eligible vehicles showed the Special Parts Collection code 69DL in ELSA on
July 01, 2022.



Owner notification will take place in July 2022 via first-class mail.



Only vehicles registered & located within the 48-contiguous United States may
participate.



The head curtain airbags will be replaced free of charge by an authorized Audi dealer.



Time is of the essence. Once the required number of head curtain air bags have
been collected, the program will end and no further replacements will be made.



Return of removed head curtain air bags is mandatory. Claims are subject to
cancellation if removed air bags are not returned or if they are improperly returned.

Please alert everyone in your dealership about this action, including Sales, Service, Parts
and Accounting personnel. Contact Warranty if you have any questions.

NOTE
A supply of parts dedicated to this special program was sent to all PDCs prior to owner notification.
Removed head curtain air bags must be returned to the designated inspection facility. These MUST be returned in
their as removed from vehicle condition.
Requests for removed air bags will be available in the Warranty Parts Portal (WPP) once the claim has reached
approved status in SAGA. Use the Warranty Parts Portal to obtain the FedEx shipping label and required hazardous
material documentation.

After campaign has been completed, enter claim as soon as possible to help prevent work from being duplicated
elsewhere. Attach the Elsa screen print showing action open on the day of repair to the repair order.

Audi is conducting a special head curtain air bag collection program. Your vehicle has been selected to participate in this program.
This is not a recall. As explained below, we are doing this as part of a safety & quality assurance initiative.
SPECIAL PARTS COLLECTION PROGRAM

Audi has pre-selected your vehicle to analyze the head curtain air bags. Under this program, we would like to replace one
or both of these head curtain air bags in your vehicle with new parts FREE of charge.



Only vehicles registered/located within the 48-contiguous United States are eligible for this program.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE – WHAT YOU CAN DO



If you would like to participate in this program, please contact an authorized Audi dealer at your earliest convenience. For
your convenience, you can also visit www.audiusa.com and click on the “Find a Dealer” link to locate a dealer near you
and schedule this service.



Head curtain air bag replacement may take up to a day to complete. Please keep in mind that your dealer may need
additional time for the preparation of the replacement, as well as to accommodate their daily workshop schedule.
