As of March 1st, 2022, the fleet mix ratio can be 25% new and up to 75% used vehicles.

valet services, mobile service, Uber and Lyft vouchers, etc.
We are pleased to announce that MINI
USA will be offering financial support to help subsidize the use of
these alternate mobility solutions.
MINI
Mobility Financial Support – Alternate Mobility Subsidy (New MINI
Vehicles)
The support, as described below, will be provided through a monthly lump sum payment to qualifying MINI![]()
Dealers.
Any dealer that meets the UTL KPI (over 85% Utilization) will be eligible for a monthly lump sum
payment equivalent to a 10% loaner fleet increase of its prior month’s loaner fleet.
For example: If your Dealer has 18-vehicle loaner fleet in May, you would be eligible for a 2-vehicle
increase.
Therefore, a lump sum payment would be calculated @ $20 per day x 30 days x 2 vehicles, this would equal
$1,200 for one month.
Additionally:
We’ll review your UTL KPI and loaner fleet size each month.
Dealers that qualify based on this KPI will be added to the support list, Dealers that do not will be
removed.
We reserve the right to check Dealers’ use of these funds to ensure that this money is used for
customer mobility-related purposes as intended.
Your dealer will receive notification from your ABM, when you meet this KPI for the current period, to confirm
with you that your Dealer is eligible to receive MINI
USA’s financial support toward these alternate mobility
services.

Mobility Financial Support - Adding Qualifying MINI
Used Vehicles
In addition to the monthly lump sum payment set forth above, qualifying used MINI
vehicles can now be
added to your loaner fleet.
Your Dealer is eligible for a monthly lump sum payment toward a fleet increase with used MINI
vehicles
when:
A UTL KPI of >85% Utilization is achieved.
Dealer’s overall fleet size has to be larger than the minimum requirement (50%)

The number of used MINI
vehicles in your service loaner fleet does not exceed 75% of your total
loaner fleet.
Your Dealer stays at or below your maximum used vehicle limit.
Requirements for used MINI
fleet vehicles to be eligible for support:
MINI
only: 2018 MY or newer
Mileage limit: 75,000 miles
No open recalls
Retailed in the US only and distributed by MINI
USA
Vehicles must meet state inspection standards (if applicable)
All Pre-Owned vehicles must be covered by your own (dealer) insurance policy
All Pre-Owned vehicles must be titled and registered by the Dealer
Prior to enrollment in this Program, the Dealer must contact the floor plan lender to make appropriate
arrangements, including any necessary adjustments or modifications to the floor plan.
A Dealer must perform a proper title transfer of the pre-owned vehicle prior to using it as a service
loaner and following all applicable state laws
CPO vehicles are possible, but coverage does not apply and need to be re-certified.
To the extent the vehicle is (or will be) subject to any floor plan, dealer needs to contact the floor
plan lender to make any necessary adjustments or modifications to the floor plan.
To be eligible for the lump sum, the overall fleet size has to be larger than the minimum requirement (50%)
and utilization (UTL) has to be over 85%
The current Vehicle Use Agreement in your new vehicle location within ATMS will also be utilized for your
used location. The Vehicle Use Agreement will automatically be uploaded into ATMS.
Although PDP will allow the use of their VUA in the used location, these vehicles will not be covered under
the PDP optional insurance.
Vehicles in the used location in ATMS, will need to be covered by the dealer’s garage insurance policies.
If you are interested in securing insurance through PDP for vehicles enrolled in the Used Vehicle Loaner
Program, please reach out directly to Shalley Aragon at PDP via

complete regarding the insurance and billing.
Please note: If PDP receive a high volume of requests, it may take several days for them to respond
While your Dealer can choose to exceed this 75% used MINI
vehicle fleet limitation and/or include MINI![]()
vehicles prior to MY 2018; MINI
USA will only provide lump sum support up to the maximum number of
qualifying used MINI
vehicles that are in your fleet as noted above.

Used Vehicles - Mobility Support Payment Example
Dealer has 25 vehicles in the new fleet. Dealer has 85 vehicles in the used fleet. Dealer maximum limit is
100. We will pay for 75 used MINI
vehicles.
Therefore, the lump sum payment would be calculated @ $10 per day x 30 days x 75 vehicles, this would
equal $22.5K for one month.

Alternate Transportation Management Software (ATMS):
Opening a Second Location and Adding Used VINs
To add used vehicles into your loaner fleet, you must create a second location in ATMS
GEN2.0. Please perform the following steps to add used vehicles to ATMS GEN2.0.
Open a Second Location for Used Vehicles
1. Dealer needs to contact TSD to set up second location: bmw
@tsdweb.com and
[email protected].
2. Provide your Dealer / Center Code and your Dealer / Center name.
3. Dealers/Centers can utilize the existing rental agreement that is currently being
used in your ATMS location. The rental agreement will automatically be uploaded
into second/used location.
Manually Add a VIN That Was Never a Part of the MINI
Loaner
Program into Your Used Location:
1. In ATMS GEN2.0, you must toggle to their used location (via the locations
dropdown on the top of your screen), which will be named “DEALER NAME Used”.
For example, Bob’s BMW
would read Bob’s BMW
Used.
2. Click the plus icon ( ) and select New Unit.
3. On the New Unit screen, enter required information, marked by asterisks (*). You
may be able to type a VIN and press tab to match with a model in your system.
4. Enter any remaining required information (*) and click CONTINUE until you reach
the Review screen.
5. Review the unit's information for accuracy and completeness. Click SAVE.
Note that you will not be able to move vehicles from your new location to the used location.

Add a VIN That Was Never a Part of the MINI
Loaner Program
into Your Used Location, via CSV Import:
1. In ATMS GEN2.0, toggle to the used location (via the locations dropdown at the top
of your screen), which will be named “DEALER NAME Used”. For example, Bob’s
BMW
would read Bob’s BMW
Used.
2. On the ‘Home’ screen, click the Fleet tab and make sure the Operations dashboard

icon ( ) is selected.
Scroll down to the Fleet CSV Import tool, where you can download a .csv import
template, if needed.
Drag and drop the csv file to upload or click UPLOAD A FILE.
A preview of the import is displayed. If the information is correct,
click CONTINUE WITH IMPORT.
The import file is marked as Processing. If needed, click REFRESH to refresh the
status of the import. If the import is successful, it is marked as Complete. If a failure
occurs, it is marked as Failed and you can download a .csv file with error
descriptions for the failed records.
Note that you will not be able to move vehicles from your new location to the used
location.
Manually Add a VIN That WAS Previously Part of the MINI![]()
Loaner Program into Your Used Location:
1. Remove the unit from the fleet via your normal process.
2. Email the full 17-character VIN to bmw
@tsdweb.com to move it to your used location. (See
above if you don’t yet have a used car location.)

Mobility Best Practices
The following best practices will help you to manage and provide mobility solutions to your
customers.

Will you be picked up after dropping off your vehicle?
Would you like to take advantage of our waiter fast service and we’ll have your vehicle ready
in under an hour, or could we give you a ride home?
Can we pick up your vehicle at your home or office etc.
Try to make the loaner car the last option.
“Waiter” jobs
Offer to carry out repairs of less than one hour as a waiter job. This prevents the need to give
out a loaner and increases satisfaction because the customer does not have to return to pick up
their vehicle.
Shuttle Service
Offer a ride home/office for customers that live nearby.
Pick up and drop off
Have your BDC offer PUD as an option. To make your service experience as convenient as
possible, would you like us to come pick you up your vehicle at your home, office, or location of
choice? We can drop your vehicle off to you once your service is complete.
Mobile Service
Use a mobile service vehicle to carry out simple repairs, recalls, diagnosis, tire replacements,
windshields etc.
Dedicated loaner personnel
Having a dedicated loaner / rental manager will help with efficiency and consistency.
Staging vehicles
Stage vehicles close to where the customer will exit your center, let them know where to drop
off the vehicle upon arrival. Have retuned vehicles cleaned shortly after being dropped off, ready
for the next customer.
Using the TSD Mobile App
Use the TSD mobile app to speed up the entire loaner process. Customers can be in and out in
around 5 minutes.
